This property is exactly as pictured, with the exception of a boardwalk that was not shown when we booked. (That's a good thing, though- I can't imagine walking it without the boardwalk.) We had a family of 4 plus all of our gear, and we had plenty of room. We used the gear credit for chairs and a kayak and brought along our own tent and paddle board. The weather was perfect, and the kids had a blast. We saw the alligators that live in the bayou, a few sharks, some rays, and the dolphin were showing off their tricks all week long. It was spectacular. I see some previous reviews mentioning the construction. When we were there, the bulk of the construction was already completed, so we did not experience the issues with the noise that were mentioned. Hopefully, that phase is done, and no one else will have that problem either. I also did not see the other issues mentioned by previous reviewers- loose spindles, tub draining issues, dirty grill, etc. Those were addressed before my stay and were not a problem for us. We did have the same issue with the wifi, but there is a tablet on the counter in the kitchen with info and instructions, so we looked at that network and hopped on that one with no problems. It was an easy fix and didn't even warrant a call to the property manager. This is located in a quieter area set away from any action, so if that's what you are looking for, this is it.

We loved the house and location. There was construction on both sides, which was a little loud at times. But we had great weather the whole time we were there with no issues at the home. Our only complaint is there were some loose spindles on the stair railing on the back deck which we reported. Other than that an Awesome place, probably stay there next year too!!

Enjoyed it very much!!!! The house was perfect for the two of us and we thought the location was great, very quiet and peaceful. The only bad thing was the week went buy so fast!!!

This is a great house! The only drawback was the mattresses. They are really uncomfortable and noisy. It would be great if they put in memory foam mattresses. The couch was uncomfortable too, but other than that it was perfect.

This home was spotless and had been staged to be very welcoming. The beach was clean and never crowded. We would definitely stay here in Port St. Joe again.

Cape and Coast staff

My husband and I spent our 25th Anniversary here and it was everything we’d hope for as far as the perfect sunrises and sunsets! The home had such a welcoming feel and we could have spent the whole winter here! We wanted for nothing as the house was well stocked with everything in the kitchen and bathrooms! We hope to be return in the Spring!

We had a few maintenance issues upon arrival but they were very prompt in responding and fixing them. We loved the house it was a perfect size for our family.

We had a lovely stay at this cute little house right on the beach. The water is not as pretty as in Bay or Walton County, but the fishing was good from the beach. The kids had a good time playing in the sand, and the adults enjoyed walking on the beach. The listing should note that a high chair and pack-n-play are available; we brought our own for our grandkids, and the extra room in the car would have been nice to have. Also, no dining chairs with backs, so the toddler had to be watched all the time while eating. The gate on the deck was wonderful for keeping the kids safe, Nice kitchen facilities and laundry room. Very quiet end of the beach.

Pipers Plunge was great. A real clean property. We had no problems. Real short walk to beach. Having chairs and umbrellas already at the house was great. The kids loved the ocean and picking up shells. We also enjoyed seeing the dolphins. We had perfect weather. No rain til morning we left.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Piper’s Plunge this past week. The home is just as pictured. Very clean. Nice quiet neighborhood. Master King bed is very firm. So, be aware. Would recommend for couples, families/friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Port Saint Joe is the best FAMILY beach trip for those who like to take it easy, enjoy slowing down and being outside. Our house was right on the beach. 500 yards to our right was the Money Bayou which is littered with blue crabs. We taught the kids how to crab on a string, cook, crack and eat. The neighborhood surrounding was so nice and quiet and all the guests were very friendly. Our house was so accommodating for a family of five. Never needed to reach out to the rental agency for anything. Live the rental credit for beach gear as it saves you from hauling too much stuff on your drive or flight in. We have been to Port Saint Joe/ Cape San Blas two years in a row and will be back again for sure. Guided fishing trips in the bay are AWSOME too!

We built fires and lit fireworks on the beach, saw dolphins and jellyfish, collected a bunch of shells, and saw magnificent sunrises and sunsets! Very special place for our family! Kid friendly too as we have a 5, 3, and 8 month old!

We had the most wonderful time. The house was cozy and relaxing. The view of the beach/ocean from the porch was amazing. I do wish there were two more chairs on the porch. We had 4 adults and two had to sit at the picknic table every morning while drinking our coffee. Just a suggestion. Beautiful home! We will definitely return!

The house was beautiful and you could smell the cleanliness when you walked inside. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. The master bathtub is a little hard to step in and out of but I have short legs! We will definitely rent here again!!! It was great.

Cape and Coast staff

Sehr schönes Haus direkt am Strand gelegen, in der Nebensaison wenig Leute am Strand. Zu Restaurants oder Einkauf muss man mind. 10 - 20 Min. fahren, in Port St Joe gibt es genug Auswahl. Das Wasser des Golfs ist leider nicht klar, dafür kann man Delphine und Pelikane beobachten. Schöne Terrasse!! und Sonnenauf- und untergänge! Es fehlten ein Haarfön und Eierbecher sowie tiefe Teller... Sonst ist das Haus gut ausgestattet. Leider kann man erst ab Punkt 17 Uhr hinein, was wir etwas kleinlich fanden. Die Lage ist durch Blick, Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sehr entspannend. Hat uns super gefallen.

The house was better than advertised. Beaches are beautiful, no crowds, family oriented, and we had perfect weather. Cape to Coast property management was available to help and answer all questions we had. We will definitely be back.
