Beautiful house. Great beach views. Quiet quaint area.

By: Trip Date: 04/06/2019

We had a wonderful week at this house. Plenty of room for our family and we were basically the only people on the beach that week. The house was beautiful. The area is very desolate if you are used to being close to a big Town and after the hurricane apparently it’s even more so. lots of construction and rebuilding so I’m sure that will change over the course of the next year or two. If your preference is like ours to avoid the crowds this is the perfect area.

We truly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend all involved to our friends
Our family loves this area. For us the pool was one of the high points. Everything was very clean, and we loved that

Our vacation

By: Trip Date: 06/23/2018

Overall we had a fantastic vacation! There was plenty of room for all of our family. We really loved having the covered area under the house, the pool was a great feature, and the ramp was the biggest plus for my handicapped brother. The only downside is the bathrooms and pool weren’t very handicap accessible. Overall we had a great time and will definitely we back hopefully every year!

Family vacation

By: Trip Date: 04/07/2018

The location was amazing. The beach was very private. There was a few things the house needed but it had just been sold to new owners so I’m sure they will fix those few things. It is an amazing quiet town and location great for family vacation just to enjoy the beach or fish.

Manager’s Response:  Yes, renovations began Apr 23, 2018 and you will not recognize the house afterwards. The changes include a whole new kitchen with quartz counters, paint, furniture, flooring, opening up the living room for enhanced Gulf views, and more. We will have new pictures posted after the 3-week reno, so check back to see the exciting new look.

Perfect beach front house

By: Trip Date: 04/27/2019

We loved our stay at Turquoise and Caicos. Everything we needed was there and after a short walk down the stairs we were on the beach. We enjoyed having the golf cart to get our “gear” to the beach and the pool was great, too. The lovely home was super clean and the furnishings were comfortable. The luxury linens were a bonus. We felt like royalty. We will definitely stay here again. We appreciated that most of the ground area was concrete so very little sand got tracked into the house. The views from the covered deck were awesome!

Quiet Secluded Family Trip

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Turquoise & Caicos! 3 adults, 3 kids ages 2, 7, and 9, and 1 dog! We absolutely loved this place! The pool was the perfect size and private, loved the outdoor furniture (loungers, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, rockers), the privacy and view of the beach could not be beat, and the amenities were spot on. I loved all the clean, bright space under the house for my workouts, we roasted s’mores in the fire pit, hit the beach and the pool, enjoyed having the TVs in the bedrooms for the kids at night, and the kids loved the bunk beds! I will say that the mattresses were not the MOST comfortable, but they were ok. We used our gear credit for beach chairs and umbrella, cooler (which we used for our chartered fishing excursion on the bay one day), corn hole bags and boards (the property actually has their own boards which are REALLY nice, but no bags, so I am glad I had ordered this), and a child bike. We used the beach and then the quiet road in front of the house to teach my older kids how to ride a 2 wheeler finally! Cape & Coast was very responsive with my inquiries on the property post hurricane. The area is still recovering so there is a lot of construction, properties that cannot yet be inhabited, and a few businesses that are no longer there. That said, we still did Easter sunrise service overlooking the water at First United Methodist, could get groceries at the Piggly Wiggly or the Trading Post (I did the majority of my shopping online and swung by the WalMart in Marianna, FL, on our way in), donuts at Webers Little Donut Shop (get there at opening or a little before), and pizza and salads at Joe Mama’s once for a late lunch/early dinner followed by dessert right next door at Shoobie’s. If you are looking for a private beach trip to spend quality time with family, this is a great area and this is an awesome property. If you are looking for action, stick with Destin.
