Baycation is a home designed with the vacationer in mind. From the massive expanse of porches and decks to the multiple gathering and seating areas, you will have no problem finding “your spot” in this home. Whether you want to play or relax, Baycation has what you need. Incredible Bay views await you from the upper and lower level front and back porches and decks furnished with a variety of comfortable seating, lounging, and dining areas. The private dock offers the ability to fish, kayak, or merely sit and enjoy the bay breeze. There is no better place to kayak on the Cape than in St. Josephs Bay! For an afternoon of fun, the pool awaits. Cornhole or horseshoe enthusiast? Baycation has that too.
For the multi-family vacationers, Baycation offers two master bedrooms with bath so no need for drawing straws on who gets the big bedroom here! In addition, a third bedroom offers a queen bed, then a fourth bedroom sleeping 4 in a twin-over twin bunk and a full-size bed.
Baycation sports two separate gathering rooms with plenty of seating for relax or play. This house is anything but your typical rental home with basic furniture and pictures, for it is furnished with beautiful décor, much of it made locally, and equipped with top-notch and custom-made furniture, lighting, and bedding, so comfort and beauty await your stay. An interior elevator will assist you with your luggage to each floor, but the beautiful open stairwell with cable railing begs the journey also. The kitchen is a home-chef’s dream, filled with everything you will need for preparing a week’s worth of fabulous meals of local seafood or your favorite dishes. Outside is a gas grill and a pizza oven for a fun cooking adventure.
To assist in your adventure at Baycation, your reservation includes $250 worth of adventure gear rental. Whether your adventure is sitting under an umbrella on the white-sandy beaches, biking, or fishing from a kayak in the Bay, this $250 credit towards your vacation gear rental will ensure you have the adventure you seek. You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

Elevators come at no additional cost and may be used throughout your stay. Please be aware that due to the extremely sensitive nature of residential elevators, this amenity can breakdown. If you receive any issues during your stay, this will be addressed as quickly as possible, however, our remote beach location may cause delay and this amenity cannot be considered a guarantee.

The bar is set unbelievably high now. Baycation had every single thing we could’ve wanted or needed for a month’s stay. We not only felt at home, we feel inspired to add some of their beautiful decor and smart organizational choices to our own home! The location is wonderful. We enjoyed breakfast watching the sunrise over the bay and cocktails at day’s end watching the sunset over the ocean. The beaches are pristine! Seashells and starfish adorn seemingly endless miles of powdery sand. We already miss Baycation so much we’re planning our return visit.

Cape and Coast is by far the best rental company I have ever rented from. Service was outstanding and their representatives personable and responsive. Baycation is in my experience the MOST INCREDIBLE home I have ever rented...and I rent a home for my “birthday month” every year since retiring. The kitchen...wow. Every appliance you would ever need. And extremely well stocked. The furnishings were high end, including the decorations. But the best part...the decks! Again, every luxury you can (and can’t!) imagine. We even enjoyed the pool...in November. And for a retiree, loved the elevator. I cannot brag on this house enough. Nor could my guests. The best birthday month ever!

Very nice property. Location is excellent. Scallops most abundant right off the dock. All the boats were coming over to dive right off the property. Wish the property would offer some water toys so you wouldn't need to rent them. Master showers are huge with rain showers. It would be nice to also have a hand held shower head.
It is so wonderful to hear you and your family had such an amazing time at Baycation, Michael! We will pass on the recommendations about the water toys and shower head to the homeowner! We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Two Weeks in the Best House Ever!

We've stayed in many rental homes but this is the best one, hands down. It's obvious the owners care about the property and their guests. They have thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of appliances and gadgets. I have never stayed in a house that had everything I needed. Having all of the lights labeled was also very helpful.. The mattress was the best I've slept on, even better than my Tempurpedic at home. The private dock provided hours of fun and relaxation. I spent a lot of time on the screened porch reading and enjoying the breeze. You will not be disappointed if you rent this lovely home. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home for two wonderful, carefree weeks. My husband and I had a fantastic time.

The Best Baycation

Cape San Blas and Baycation were the best getaway for our family. The house was beautiful and so well stocked! Often times rentals homes are missing essential items, but not the case here...they thought of everything! Also, one of the few rentals that actually lives up to the photos provided. The view, the location, it was all fantastic. Cape San Blas offers a quiet, relaxing vacation. Definitely not your place if looking for lots of restaurants and shopping. For such a small area, there is plenty to do to keep you busy with the Bay, the Gulf, the bike path, National Park. We will definitely be back!

This house was amazing...5 stars plus. This was the nicest rental I have ever stayed in. It was super clean and well maintained. A lot of thought was put into the house itself, decor and amenities. Our party of 11 was extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again. The bay views and sunrises were amazing and the beach was just a short distance away. Super laid back, non-touristy area. We had a great time at Baycation. The house is gorgeous...beautifully decorated and supplied with everything you could possibly wish for. The owners have really put their hearts into making everything so spectacular for their guests.We also loved the peaceful setting surrounded by nature, with only one close neighbor. The screened porches, decks, and the dock fantastic. The Bay is so beautiful and fun and the house is just a short distance to the the beaches on the Gulf. We have rented 4 previous homes at the Cape and Baycation was by far the best. The other homes were gulf front and this was our first stay on the bay. The home is beautiful. The owners have thought of everything a renter could need and provided it. Being on the bay offered great fishing, smooth water for kayaking, beautiful scenery and a short distance to the beach. Baycation will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Cape San Blas.

The six of us loved staying at Baycation! We felt at home the moment we arrived! It's the best equipped home we've stayed at. The decks and dock were our favorite! The guys fished all day and my sister & I shelled right in the bay. The team at Cape & Coast went above & beyond and their generosity touched our hearts! We took a fishing charter, ate at some good restaurants, but mostly relaxed & enjoyed time together! The town is more scarce than we expected, but they're still rebuilding from hurricane. We would definitely visit again & wouldn't hesitate to book with cape & coast again and again!

The artwork and furnishings are so special and truly belong in such a gorgeous setting. There are so many unique and fun spots to enjoy here...both inside and outside. We loved all the porches, the dock, the pool area, the wooded area, the fireplace, the pizza oven, the privacy, the short walk to the gulf side beach park, and of course the STUNNING views, and mostly the bay itself! We have no suggestions for improvement...(oh...one family member gently suggests maybe heat for the pool? Or a hot tub? 🙂

I could write a book about my wonderful stay at "Baycation". This spacious home has everything! It is spotlessly maintained, very well-designed, beautifully decorated, and has every gadget you can imagine in the stunning kitchen. The cooking equipment & accessories is all high-end name brands and looks nearly new. The screened porches & open decks offer breathtaking views of St Joseph's Bay (including intense sunrises). In the evening, the west-facing decks offer the colors of sunsets. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, with a cozy fire table on one of the Bay-facing decks. I fell asleep on the large hanging rope bed on one of the screened peaceful. It's a long walk to the end of the private dock on the Bay, but the water is clear and relatively shallow. Take a book and 'sit a spell' out over the water. In warm months, launch your kayak right off the stairs. The interior of the home features very comfortable furniture, especially the mattresses, linens & pillows. The bathrooms are large with oversized showers and "rain" heads. The owners' choice of decorations for the home are on the whimsical side, with an alligator 'butler' in the 3rd floor kitchenette and a 3-D surprise in the elevator (check out the photos). The private pool is inviting, but the weather was too cold to swim or to bake a pizza in the wood-fired oven out there. The owners put considerable thought into this home for the comfort & convenience of their guests, such as labeling of all of the electrical switches & cabinet shelves in the kitchen. The photos are an accurate representation of this gorgeous rental. Highest quality is what you'll find when you step inside. Baycation is an amazing home.. you will love it !

What an amazing vacation home! Our families came together for one amazing vacation and thoroughly enjoyed this home. The kitchen was fully stocked and more than impressive, the house had been beautifully decorated with rustic decor, plenty of room for our families, loved the back decks and comfy outdoor furniture, as well as the dock. Precious neighbors. We would recommend a set of stairs for the end of the dock with such drastic changes in tide levels. Nonetheless, in our 8th year of visiting PSJ and CSB, this was by far the BEST vacation house yet!

Our family had a fantastic vacation at Baycation. The house itself was immaculate in every single way, large, very well equipped with everything you could possibly want or need, and both the inside and outside had features that made our time there very comfortable and relaxing. Finally, the location of Baycation on Cape San Blas provided us with everything one could want in a vacation rental. With the house setting on the bay side of the cape, we had access to the pier for fishing, as well as wading and kayaking in the bay. However, it was less than a 5 minute drive to the ocean side of the cape where we enjoyed the waves and solitude of the beach.
