We loved our stay at Cape Cottage. The home is very close to the beach and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, bed were very comfortable and there was more than enough room. Home was clean. The added benefit of beach gear (we got bikes) was definitely enjoyed. We did see a few roaches but it's Florida. Florida has bugs! The bug guy came and sprayed on the second day and we didn't see anymore. Would recommend taking a sharp knife with you. Most of the knives for chopping were very dull. Otherwise, kitchen had everything we needed. Would request that the owners purchase a table and chairs for the screened in porch so it could be enjoyed for meals. Also, install fans on the porch. (looks like it is already wired for it.) We would highly recommend this property. Close to the beach and the store!

Cottage is lovely and convenient to the beach. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are luxurious. On the down side: The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware, however there is very little storage space for groceries. Seating is limited and awkward for more than 4 guests in the living room area and there are no occasional tables that are convenient to sofas or side chairs in the living room or on the deck. While the antique furniture is lovely to look at, these pieces take a lot of space that could be better utilized.

We loved staying in Cape Cottage! The house was clean and just as the pictures appeared. The elevator was a nice feature. My mom went with us and she is older and it was nice for her to have that feature instead of climbing the stairs. The walk to the beach was flat and not a far walk. The house could use a full length mirror somewhere. They had small mirrors in the bathroom but not long enough to see yourself. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had great views of the ocean even though it was not on the beach. We would definitely consider renting this home again.

Truly beautifully decorated cottage. We felt right at home in the kitchen- it had everything we needed and more (somewhat unusual in a lot of rentals). The home sleeps plenty of people very comfortably, on real beds (not just day beds turned into "bedrooms"), and the bathrooms were spacious and felt brand new. Although the living room area isn't huge, there is ample space in the open concept living area and the awesome screened in porch. Nice bonus was the heated outdoor shower and elevator (while not a must, it is a nice addition for guests of all ages). We will absolutely be back!

The layout of this property makes it ideal for large or small families to gather. Relaxing views of the gulf coast, tasteful decorations, well equipped kitchen--all of these things make for a great vacation get away. The screened in porch was our favorite spot (first cup of coffee in the morning, dessert after sunset). We are looking forward to going back often!
