The responsiveness of the rental company was excellent. We had trouble with the cable/internet, and they sent out someone to check it out without us requesting it. I thought this was excellent customer service.

The house was just what was advertised very clean and cozy. Very easy short walk to the beach. The kids loved the pool after spending the day at the beach. My family and I had a very relaxing vacation. We will definitely be doing it again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home was exactly as expected. In impeccable condition and perfectly appointed inside and outside for the pool and beach. Just a short little hop over to the beach. Very convenient to the town center and most importantly for us, the state park which is a must visit multiple times. The management company was fantastic--so responsive!

Lovely home, very well equipped. Great location with very short walk to the beach & 1.5 mile walk to town. The porch was my favorite part, plus so nice to have four bathrooms! Had everything we needed, except we couldn’t get ice maker to work right & occasionally ran out of hot water when everyone showered. Overall loved it & hope to be back soon!

We loved the quiet atmosphere of SGI! Seeing dogs on the beach was so fun! De La Sol is a great house with MANY amenities. It was so convenient to not have to pack and bring so much with us. The house was perfect for our two families. We ate several meals at local restaurants and also cooked a few at the house. Everything we needed was available. Other than not having the direct tv working, this house was not missing a thing. Such a friendly & quiet beach!!! We will definitely be back.

De La Sol is a beautiful house! It had everything we needed. We're a family of five and had plenty of room. The pool was great. Loved the covered porch with comfy chairs, outdoor dining and beach view. The laundry room had a full-sized washer/dryer located inside the house. De La Sol is located in a quiet residential area with plenty of space for pets. Short walk to the beach. Chairs, a beach cart, beach towels and pool/beach toys were provided. We used the gas grill multiple times; but there's also a charcoal grill provided. There's a nice walking/biking path in front of the house. The management team was great to work with and responded quickly to questions. We've stayed on St George Island many times and this was our favorite house. We miss it already!

This place is an ideal location with everything you could need in the house for your stay. The living area is a bit small for the number of people that can be accommodated in the 4 BRs, but if it were a bit later in the year with warmer weather and the ability to use the deck at night, it would be great even for a larger group. I would highly recommend.

House was perfect for our family, everything you could possibly need provided for you. Beds and linens were very comfortable as well. Agree with previous reviewers that photos do not do it justice. My kids loved the pool and easy walking distance to the beach. My only regret was not choosing to heat the pool as we had some chilly days. Would definitely recommend this house.

This was our first experience in St. George Island, and we have fallen in love! We were blown away by this beautiful house. Our jaws hit the floor when we walked inside. The pictures are just a sample of this house’s beauty. Anything & everything that a family would need for vacation was provided. The owners went above & beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. Out of all the homes we have rented, this home was by far the BEST!

This house was perfect. The floor plan is so great. I was a little worried having one living area wouldn't be big enough for us but it is much larger than the pictures show. The kitchen is large and has lots of cookware. The decorations are just adorable and the bathrooms are big and nice. Beds are comfortable and they provide plenty of towels and blankets. Love the deck off the back. Has a good view of the ocean even though it is across the street from the beach. Lots of sand castle making equipment and beach toys and chairs, even has a cart to lug stuff to the beach! Huge covered parking for vehicles. We absolutely loved it!

The house is gorgeous and very tastefully decorated. Kitchen is fully stocked and pristine. You will not find a better pool - large, clean and plenty of lounge chairs and pool toys. Short, easy walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

I absolutely LOVED this property. Everything was perfect. The location can’t be beat - it’s a 3 min walk to the beach, 5 minutes from the grocery store, etc. The house was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Two things to note: 1) bring extra towels if you don’t want to do tons of laundry. We did and they came in handy. 2) bring or buy charcoal if you want to grill. We didn’t see a gas grill but the charcoal one worked great. It’s just not covered so you can’t use it if it’s raining. The beds were fantastic. I slept like a rock. The linens were soft. Everything looked new. The pool was fabulous. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful home with a fabulous view of the ocean. Kitchen had everything you need to cook and then some. Very nice that the beach towels, laundry soap, dish soap, trash bags, baggies, tinfoil and beach stuff was supplied for us. Pool was great!

Ten of us had a wonderful stay at de la Sol. The house and all the amenities was above expectations. We did not have to take beach chairs or toys or pool toys from our home in SC. The whole stay was peaceful for adults and the three children. Loved this place!

What a great property. We've rented our fair share of beach houses. This home is by far one of the best, it's equipped with everything you need for a perfect beach vacation. It's just a short walk to the beautiful beach and has a very nice private pool. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of quality dishes, utensils and cookware, the bed linens were very nice, plenty of beach towels were provided, it was even stocked with laundry supplies. This house is well suited for families and offers plenty of privacy for all. The back deck was great for morning coffee or evening beverages with a nice view of the gulf. Would love to stay here again.

This is our second house we’ve rented for Carla Gibbs on St. George. Both were fabulous experiences. This home is BEAUTIFUL and perfect for a family with kiddos. The bedrooms are all four separated into the four corners of the house allowing for privacy and quietness with the littles! The pool was nicely done and the proximity to the beach was so easy with the kids! We truly enjoyed our trip and plan to book with her in the future!

SGI is our go-to for family vacations. My husband has been coming to the area since the 1970s and we come at least once a year. This home is our favorite and we plan to rent again when we return. Perfect layout for gathering and privacy. Exceptionally well-stocked kitchen. Thoughtful touches such as trash bags, paper towels and dishwasher tabs - this alone saves packing an entire storage tub, which as a mom is a game-changer for me. The pool was great and walk to the beach a breeze!

De La Sol is an absolutely fabulous home, excellent floor plan for privacy and very well appointed. Close proximity to the beach and downtown. Carla Gibbs was easy to work with. We will definitely rent this home again and thank the owners for sharing it with us. Unfortunately Hurricane Michael forced our early departure but we will return and stay at De La Sol!!!

Loved every bit of our stay. Sparkling clean, very well stocked throughout! The pool was clean and sparkling and even had a nicely covered area that provided some shade. Kitchen was great. Loved the layout of the house and the spacious covered porch. Plenty of paper supplies and extras! We all had such a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic time with my family of 5 + 2 parents + 2 sisters. The house easily accommodated the 9 of us. It was an easy, flat walk out the back door each day to a beautiful, quiet, uncrowded beach. The house was outfitted with just about everything you would want: a beach cart, boogie boards, ping pong table, xbox for the older kids, board games, nice linens, beach towels provided, and more. St. George island did not disappoint. We love the quiet neighborhood, and slower pace than some of the other gulf communities like Destin, Pensacola, etc. The kitchen was also very well outfitted with a multitude of pots/pans/storage for cooking in. The only cons: The back door was slightly difficult to operate (handle VERY difficult to turn) which resulted in the smaller children physically unable to enter/exit. The local park/pavilion style grill is barely sufficient for anything other than burgers and hot dogs. We love to cook/grill, so this was disappointing. We would highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed this new house which has all bedrooms on one level. The great large porch was the best! Great for meals and relaxing while viewing the gulf. Large area under the house for at least three cars. All around great house and location. Would stay there again.

The house was nicely decorated and a very short walk to the beach. I really liked that all rooms are on one floor so it works great for two families. It was great that beach towels and chairs were provided. Would like to stay there again. The pool is also a good size.

Our family has been coming to SGI for over 10 years now. This house was wonderful! Kitchen was better equipped than any place we've ever stayed (kids plates, a cheese grater, crock pot, etc!). Cookware was really good. Very clean and comfortable house. Pool was great, furnishings in the house very nice. Lots of under house parking and storage. Great back porch. Every bath had nice towels, full size soap and hand soap. Would highly recommend!

DeLaSol is just lovely. The house is cozy with plenty of room for our whole crew (10) We have a chef in the family and he was impressed how well appointed the kitchen is. We enjoyed the balcony & pool so much. With a toddler the security measures taken were much appreciated. If we were to come again at the same time of year I would spring for the extra cash to get the pool heated. The pool & beach toys, chairs etc were an awesome touch. We needed more than we brought. The 30 something "boys " thought the PlayStation in the bunk bed room was the best perk of all. We had a joyful week with memories to last a lifetime! When returning to St George Island we definitely will consider DeLaSol again.

Our family has been coming to St. George for years and this house was perfect! The owners have thought of everything a family would need while vacationing at the beach. The house is centrally located so it was easy for our boys to walk down or ride their bikes to the basketball courts or to the ice cream shop. It is a quick walk to the beach with great ocean views. This house would be perfect for a large family or two families.

What an incredible way to start the new year! The photo gallery captures this beach house to perfection. The decor is beach cottage chic with every detail carefully considered from the perspective of a vacationer. The heated pool, spacious deck, and beach views are spectacular. This is the PERFECT rental and will be our destination on St. George Island every year. Look no further!
