Secluded. Exactly what we like. Be sure you bring the proper bug spray for the outdoors. Small flies called "no see ums" are brutal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Weather was great. House was really great-superbly well equipped kitchen. About those much maligned stairs-yes, there are a lot of stairs-to be expected in a house built on pilings. We are able bodied older adults and viewed the stairs as assets to increasing our physically activity and our reward was the incredible view of the gulf over the sand dunes. Stephanie is a terrific property manager-responded right away each time. Minor suggestion to property owners-put some hooks (for hats, coats, leashes) and a shoe tray near the main entrance-to cut down on clutter near the door. We really enjoyed this spacious house and beautiful location, especially the dining room with windows and view on three sides and the uppermost bedroom with light streaming in. Everything was clean and in order. We are relatively short people, though, and the beds were awkwardly high. Maybe the house was designed by tall people?

We had a wonderful week long vacation. The house was very well appointed and the location was perfect. My only complaint was the there were no wine glasses. There were plastic wine "glasses" but they don't clean well and looked unclean. Luckily I had read about the lack of wine glasses so I brought my own. Besides that, everything else was perfect.

For 35 years my siblings and I get together for a week preferably at the beach. We enjoy walks on the beach and just reading and relaxing on the beach. Even though the red tide kept us inside the majority of our week beach visit, we enjoyed time together and especially the wonderful ocean views from the spacious dining room and family room. The kitchen was well-stocked and there was plenty of room for our small group of 6 adults to cook, eat and play card and board games together.

This house far exceeded our expectations, making for a happy week at the beach for our entire family. The ocean views are spectacular from every room, the neighborhood quiet, the property private, and the kitchen well appointed. There was plenty of room for everyone including our pups. We appreciated the hot tub on rainy days and enjoyed daily dolphin sightings on the private beach all week. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We reluctantly left - wish we could stay forever! The views from the home are unparalleled. Just breathtaking. We especially loved the panorama views from the dining room. Since it was just 2 of us we had a hard time deciding which oceanfront bedroom to stay in!!! We finally ended up at the very top and enjoyed the vaulted ceilings in that bedroom- we could hear the ocean and see the stars from the bed at night. It’s a beautiful home. Kitchen is well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Island Rhythm was a perfect place to relax on St George Island. With bedrooms on three levels, there was ample room for teens who wanted their own space. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for gourmet cooking and the beachfront location was great for short midday breaks and nighttime walks. Highly recommend this house!

We had 11 of us vacationing, 6 adults and 5 boys 9-11. The easy access to the beach was the best. There were numerous turtle nests right in front of the property and along the coast. On Tuesdays go to Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve for their turtle talk. Very educational and our little guys learned so much about protecting turtles and their environment. We also went on a airboat tour with Apalachicola Gone Country Airboat Excursions which was a lot of fun. We rented bicycles for everyone from Island Adventures who were great in working with us when one of our little guys went from training wheels to a regular bike. There are bike trails allover the place and is safe activity for the entire family. FYI - Little guys are required to wear helmets. The property was overall great. The kitchen even had a cheese shredder. The views were beautiful inside and outside but if it's raining though there is only one small area that you can be outside on the lower deck without getting wet. Not a big deal but still. There are no hair dryers so bring your own if you want to hit your bangs before going out and you might want to bring some extra tp. I would diffidently recommend this property.

Had the most perfect 3 week stay at this beautiful beach house~views from every window and balcony were breathtaking. Able to host family, friends and our 2 favorite canines that had THE most wonderful times themselves. The couple glitches we incurred were VERY minorl yet handled as if they were major inconveniences (which they were not). Many, many thanks to property manager Stephanie~she certainly knows her business and handles everything with utmost professionalism ~ I felt as though I had known her all my life. She's awesome. Needless to say we'll be back next year~and we've got the reservation to prove it! : )

Spent a great week at this lovely home on a great part of the beach in SGI. We were 2 families with 6 teenagers for 7 days. While the teenagers were a bit cozy, they were fine with that and there was enough space for everyone. House is as advertised and the owner was wonderful. Highly recommend and we would definitely rent again.

The home was recently renovated and was in great shape. The location is perfect with really great beach access, and the beach on this stretch of the Plantation was not crowded at all. There are a lot of steps, and bringing in groceries is annoying because the kitchen is on the second level of living space, so actually up two flights of stairs. But worth it for the view from the dining area! (Also there’s a fridge in the garage for things that don’t need to go upstairs.) The property manager was responsive and helpful.

This home was perfect for my family. There was plenty of space for everyone and never felt crowded. We had 11 people and the space worked very well. The pool being located across the street from the driveway made it easy with small children. Very quiet street and no traffic. Great family rental.

We had a lovely week. There were 7 of us- 4 adults and 3 kids, and we had more than enough space in the house. The house is very well-appointed, comfortable and spacious. The view is gorgeous and the beach just a short walk away. The beach is very quiet and secluded, it felt like it was our very own beach. The pool was also just literally steps away in front of the house- we spent a lot of time there swimming with the kids. We wished we were staying all summer!

We rent on SGI often - 6 times in the last 18 months. I have shopped for the best value and experience (dog friendly) and I have found it. Pirate's Booty is at the end of the Plantation next to "the Cut" where you will find pristine beaches and awesome water. You can get that elsewhere, but the difference is the unbelievable views from the main living area on floor 2 and the top floor 3 where there are 3 bedrooms with their own full baths and 2 masters that face the Gulf with a walk-out deck to each. We did not know how much the pool would add to our experience but we found out it added a ton. The family plays on the beach all day and retreats to Pirate's Booty in the late afternoon. A warm and clean beachfront pool right next to your private boardwalk is truly unique - we used it every day. By late afternoon, we usually had enough sand and welcomed the refreshing pool to enjoy that margarita or frosty beverage before getting ready for the short ride to some of the freshest and best seafood on the Planet. There are some places on the Island, but we really love Lynn's just over the bridge to the East (doesn't look like much, but the fresh seafood is amazing and very affordable). Up The Creek in Apalachicola is a few miles farther but a beautiful drive to the West into the quaint town of Apalachicola where our favorite waitress Harley always gives us the best advice - last night it was the freshest flounder and shrimp. And. . . do not miss the oysters that slept in the Gulf the night before - could not be any fresher. The place was "The Bomb" and we received awesome customer service from the management when we needed a tweek of the freon in the AC unit - they answered the phone and sent the service company within a few hours and the issue was fixed! We were so appreciative that they did not dodge us and stepped up - we will be back as soon as we can get there. Plantation security / beachfront / views / pool . . . this place has all we could want and it is clean and well-appointed. And, guess what? The fish bite right in front of your rental - pompano, whiting, and lots of other types - bring your surf gear of get some cheap at the bait shops local. Last, a fully functioning shower with hot water and a bathroom right next to the pool. . . what a surprise! Get the kids cleaned up right after you get them from the pool - awesome.

First of all, this place is inside the Plantation. That means you are with a different class of people - no Spring Breakers and no craziness. The house is on my favorite street in Plantation - Canopy Ln. It is right next to the pool. Most important to us is that the main level with the kitchen and great room are high above the dunes - so you wake every morning to the beautiful Gulf views with dolphin and sea turtles very visable through the wall to to wall windows. We like to bring our dog and the beach area is somewhat secluded so the pup can run in the surf and chase balls and no worries with being chained up the whole time. Fishing right from the surf is so much fun and they do bite. Pompano can be had in the more shallow water and what a great way to catch and eat your dinner without even leaving your house. Take the paddle board you can rent from Jolly Rogers and drag the bait out past the sandbar and drop it deep and you can catch anything from shark to lots of other fun fish to catch and eat! The layout is great for families who want togertherness in the great room but also want some quiet time. The top bedroom provides a particularly private setting with its own mini-kitchen and private bath. We rent often at SGI and will be back to Sea Cliff. When seeking a rental and paying beach-front prices, you want to see the beach and not the dunes. Be careful not to rent a house with a "dune view" which is beach front price. . . This house is exactly what it is advertised to be and is a great set up. It has all the amenities you could want. We had a family of 4 with 2 children ages 6 and 8 and an additional couple, and the set up was perfect. The family of 4 were on the 1st floor and the couple on the 2nd floor. We had room for more on the 3rd floor and used that as a "reading room." The kitchen is lovely and the view is spectacular. We had been to SGI once before and so were less in the exploring mode and already knew places to go both on SGI and in Apalachicola, etc. We had a FABULOUS boat ride and treasure hunt on the "deserted island" for the kids through Jolly Roger which I highly recommend. It was a real highlight. I would say the only caveat is that there are a lot of steps in the house - not a problem at all for our group, but for anyone with physical limitations, this could have been an issue. Lovely house and would happily go back!

My husband and I recently stayed at seacliff for a week. The home is on a private road with no through traffic. We found this home to be very comfortable. This included the furniture and the beds. The kitchen was well equipped. It was also very clean. I would love to stay here again.

This house is located in a gated community with great amenities. The house has excellent water views from almost every room, beds were comfortable and the rooms were large enough for a heavy packer. It was perfect for two couples and 4 kids. Beach chairs, umbrella, and some toys were included by the owner. The outdoor shower was a plus as well. The owner couldn't have been easier to work with. Would definitely go back again. This was our first time to the island and we found it quiet and relaxed....a far cry from Destin or Panama City Beach. The local stores had everything we needed and there's fresh seafood around every corner. The locals were extremely friendly and helpful.

Our family had a fantastic time!! It was a fun time for the adults as well as the children. Weather permitting we were shelling and walking on the beach or taking a bike ride. When it rained, the house is big enough that everyone had plenty of space for relaxing. Our visit to St. George Island once again was very enjoyable. We always look forward to visiting and especially staying in the Plantation area. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home.

This is a great, well-managed property on a beautiful location. My girlfriend couldnt get away from work, so I spent a week in September with just my dog. Couldnt have been happier- quiet beaches which were dog friendly. The house had everything you need, including lots of beach stuff. One warning- there are a lot of steps to deal with, so would not recommend for people with physicaal limitations. Also, my opinion is this is not the location for anyone with small kids- not much for them to do and the people at this beach are there for peace, quiet and beauty- not screaming kids (that's what Destin is for :) I would definitely return, hopefully for longer!

We just returned home from a week on St George Island. We are already talking about our return trip next year. We are so happy we found this beach home. It was right on the beach, perfect amenities, and everything we needed plus some. The owner was available any time for questions and went above and beyond to help us if we needed anything. We had a fabulous stay at Sea Cliff. We were 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids) and this house could not have been better suited for us. The kids had their own den and bunkroom to hang out in leaving plenty of space for the adults free of toys. The beach was beautiful and we were right on top of it, porches had gorgeous views and the pool was right across the street. The pool situation was ideal for us because it was just far enough from the house that the kids could not pop over there (so we didn't have to worry about accidents), but really only steps away. The pool is only shared with the other houses on the street so we practically had it to ourselves the whole time. The house was very nice but extremely comfortable and suitable for kids and was well-stocked with everything we needed. On top if all of that, Carla was an amazing property manager, host and ambassador to St. George. She was so accommodating and helpful. Not only did she make herself available for whatever we needed, she made fabulous recommendations for fishing guides and even found us a wonderful babysitter. We were so fortunate to have her help during our stay. I can't recommend Seacliff or Carla highly enough. We will definitely come back!

I had never been to St. George Island, but I had several acquaintances that had been and told me it was the place to go with my 3 kids. I would have to add that the PLANTATION end (where this home is) is the side of the island on which to be! It is a large community that has a very private feel. There are many bike paths, and we rode with our 5, 8, and 9 year olds every morning. This home had a pool across the driveway/cul-de-sac that we used every day and saw only one other family there once, so it was like our own private pool. The beach area is also very private - no worries about claiming your spot! There is a nice wooden walkway out over the dunes onto the beach. My husband went fishing on the other end of the island with a kayak guide and caught some nice redfish. We saw dolphins almost every day, and the kids and our dog had great fun at night running down the beach with their flashlights and buckets catching the little crabs. There is a great screened area beside the garages for cleaning fish and an outside toilet and shower. The house is very neat with everything you need including beach towels. We used the charcoal grill a couple of times and put the kids out on the screened porch to eat while we grown-ups ate just inside the sliding doors. There are some decent places to eat on the island and in Appalachicola. We brought a couple of coolers full and some other groceries down with us and I was glad! The grocery stores (even over in Appalachicola) are extreme mini versions of what we have at home. The Piggly Wiggly looked like a tiny warehouse. The produce was not very good there either. It was fine for supplementing, but if you plan to cook some meals, I would not do ALL of my shopping down here. If you have teenagers that like the craziness of the boardwalks with waterparks and go carts, then this is not the place for you, but if you want family bonding time, you found the right place!

We had the most amazing time in this gorgeous home! Very spacious and very appropriate for two families. The owner was by far the most helpful and accommodating owner we have EVER worked with. She constantly checked on us and answered any questions we had immediately. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys for the kids (which the owner purchased so we didn't have to bring ours). The water was the most beautiful I have ever seen and the house was close to the Cut. Absolutely gorgeous! The home does have a lot of stairs but it was not an issue for us. The linens and towels were plentiful and of EXCELLENT quality. The dryer did take a little longer than normal to dry things, but again, it wasn't a problem for us as we run strictly on island time on St. George. Look forward to returning and renting the Sea Cliff again.

My daughter and her family took me along on their vacation to St. George Island-we had a wonderful time. The house is so spacious , better than the pics, and we were able to spread out. Gorgeous house and beach. Very private. All the amenities you need. So comfortable. We went to St. Patricks's Church for Easter Mass and then had brunch at The Owl restaurant which was recommended to us. So nice! Only thing that I wished they had was screens in all the windows.

We had a wonderful time at the Sea Cliff. The house was beautiful and the community was very private and relaxing. We were there from Sept 28 through Oct 1. We love the Island and have been visiting this area for more that 5 years. There were a ton of stairs so we would not recommend this home to someone who has issues with stairs, but all other aspects of the home are lovely. Can't wait until our next visit.

We all loved it. Ranging in age from 3-62, it suited us all perfectly. The pool was literally steps away and was never crowded. The beach was beautiful and felt private. The boys could ride their bikes in the private neighborhood safely. The house was beautifully furnished and very clean.Everything worked perfectly and all the appliances we needed were there and in great worKing conditionWe cant wait to go back!

What a great house and area! The house was clean and better than it looked in the pictures. Lots of room, great views, great little area with a pool shared by 4-5 houses. Dunes were cool! The house, the area and the island had a really good feel to it. Carla, the property rep was awesome! She was very friendly, full of information, and always willing to help with anything. Apalachicola is a quaint, cute little fishing town with interesting shops and some good places to have a cold one and eat something tasty. All in all, we had a great trip and highly recommend the area, the island and the house. FYI, this is a throwback, slow down type of vacation area, so if that is what you're looking for you are in the right spot!

The home was just as described and the property manager contacted me prior to our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed and also to let me know to reach out to her should we need anything while on site. The house was clean and neat and had everything we could have needed. We were very happy with the entire experience.

This is a beautiful home with everything one could ask for!. My daughters, treated my husband and I to a wonderful week with their families at Seacliff.. We watched the dolphins from the deck, swimming off shore, played tennis, enjoyed the pool, and swam in the ocean. We also walked along the beach at dusk, and cooked some fabulous seafood, which be bought from the fellows that brought it right from the boats. Our four families were quite comfortable in this spacious home. The three televisions made everyone happy and even with the rain we were all entertained, .

Sea Cliff was perfect for our family gathering. The house was beautiful, very clean and very well equipped. The owner was so helpful before we arrived in answerin questions. We loved that we had space to be together and space to do things separately. We saw dolphins the first few days and even though there was rain toward the end of he week, it was very relaxing and peaceful for everyone. We hope to be back next year.
