Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great stay. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen, open floor plan made it nice to have a large group downstairs without feeling cramped. Great location/walk to the beach and beautiful views from the balconies! Bath tubs were slippery, could benefit from having grips applied to bottom of tubs or replaced all together. Mosquitoes were awful outside around the house and around the pool, not that they could be helped other than spraying for them. Pool was great and very clean. Perfect size for the kids to play in. Overall perfect location/space!

I was a bit disappointed by not having any screens on the sliding doors, but understand about the effect they have on the air conditioning system. Also, I wished there was a dustpan to go along with the broom. It would have helped to remove all the sand at the bottom of the stairs. These are both rather minor complaints. Truly enjoyed my stay and hope to be back nextyear!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house! This is our sixth stay in the Cape San Blas area and the first time renting from Cape and Coast. The beds were very comfortable, the home was nicely furnished, and we loved having a firepit. There were four couples and three children, so it was nice having four king rooms along with the bunk beds. The only problem we had was that the kitchen was not very well equipped. We do a lot of cooking on vacations in addition to eating out. There were only five steak knives. There was a generous amount of big spoons but only four small spoons. There were several large glasses but no small ones for the little kiddos. We understand a lot of things get lost or broken in rental homes. There were two brooms, but no dust pans for we would have cleaned a little better before we left. We loved the coffee maker since four of us were coffee drinkers. The location was great. We saw dolphins every day.

The house was in a low key, family oriented beach location. Exactly what we wanted, especially with Covid issues still fresh. We basically ate in most days except for a few adventures out. A 15 minute drive would get you to grocery stores or restaurants in either St. Joe or Appalachicola We picked up fresh shrimp and fresh fish at St. Joe Shrimp Co on Cape Sand Blas. Highly recommended for fresh seafood. The home itself was immaculately clean on arrival. Beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and pretty well equipped. We took our own griddle for pancakes, sharp knives, etc. since we drove down. The pool was great for kids that got tired of the sand! As most reviews state, the water is not quite as clear as most of the gulf. It wasn’t dirty, just not a beautiful clear color. We had one horrible day of jellyfish invasion, several bad stings. The next day was better but you had to be aware of them. I guess that could happen anywhere in the gulf! The mosquitoes in the evening were so bad we didn’t get to enjoy a night out on the decks. Bug spray didn’t seem to phase the pests. But our overall trip was fantastic. Our rental company was wonderful to work with. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with our family!

Our family of 6 was spoiled in this spacious, clean home. Waking up to the unobstructed and amazing view each day was a gift. The heated pool was used daily, and we were thrilled by the unexpected addition of a hot tub. We had plenty of space to enjoy family time or privacy. We would love to return to this exact home in the future. And ... the beds were so comfortable! Great mattresses!! The one thing I would like to recommend are more towel hooks in the master bath.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a really fun vacation! It was very nice having a pool, and it was the perfect size. We rented both houses and had the rest of our family right next door. So convenient. A new outdoor couch got delivered the second day we were there, so that was a nice surprise. The area feels remote, which is what we like, took us about 15 min to get to a grocery store or to go out to eat. Not a problem for us. Only things that could have been improved is there were no rugs in the house. Probably a reason for that when it comes to cleaning. And a little board walk would make it easier to get the beach stuff to the beach in soft sand. We rented the buggy with wheels but it took 2 people to push if you filled it up. Good sized living/dining/kitchen area and loved that 4 of the bedrooms had King sized beds so no one had to get the short end of the stick. LOL.

We had a blast in Port St. Joe! The house was beautiful, had everything we needed. The beach was clean and our neighbors were awesome. We loved supporting the area. Conveniently located near downtown. Fun shops, and the little general store was a lifesaver. Shoobies is a must for an ice cream treat. Our pool was perfect, clean, and a wonderful break from the waves. I think an upgrade is due for some new outdoor furniture on the balcony. Kitchen was great. And the beds were sooo comfy. We will definitely be back!!

I would suggest a had rail at the first set of steps. We all tried to be extra careful on the steps. Property mgmt was great they helped whenever we called. Cell phone service was very limited, that was nice for a change. But house does have a land line. Everything we needed we bought at the piggly wiggly. Pizza from Howies was great and Krazyfish Grill was awesome ! It was nice to be with family and so thankful we stayed at this beautiful beach home, but I prefer the white sand and clear water.

We rented some umbrellas; chairs; cornhole etc making it so convenient to sit at the beach or spend time in our own private pool. We felt like we had our own private beach as well since there were very few people around us. Thank you for making our family trip so perfect!

This was our first time staying this far to the east of Panama City. Our family consists of 8 adults and 4 kids. We needed a bigger house so we tried San Sou Sea. We truly enjoyed the house and the pool. The beach was nice and not crowded at all. The local area is lacking due to the storm. It was different but very enjoyable. When the local area recovers from the storm, it will be even better.

Home was very well kept, clean , fully stocked kitchen equipment. Just a short walk to the wonderful beach. I would recommend that they but some hooks in the bathrooms for hanging wet suits etc.

House was clean upon our arrival, all the bedrooms were great. The toiletries bag and robes were a really nice touch. The view from the kitchen/ family room was perfect. The pool was great when we didn’t wanna stay at the beach. The location of the house was great, just a very short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!!

The beds were comfortable, the pool nice and clean. Access to the beach was good; however wooden walkway will need updating soon. The beach was wonderful no crowds just our family and the family in the house next door. The only negative was the mosquitos. They were vicious. Screens need to be added on gulf deck and pool area so you can be out in the evening or massive spraying to get rid of them. In all it was a great vacation getaway for my family. We would come again especially if the mosquito problem is rectified.

This is the 3rd year we have rented this property. the floor plan is perfect for us. There are several things that need to be fixed and improved and I am excited to see what the new owner has in store for this house. The new property management company(Cape and Coast Rentals) was great to work with and very professional. We had a plumbing issue and they were very quick to respond.
