Looking for adventure during your stay at Shore Daze? Your reservation includes $250 worth of adventure gear rental, delivery fee may apply. Whether your adventure is sitting under an umbrella on the white-sandy beaches, biking, or fishing from a kayak in the Bay, this $250 credit towards your vacation gear rental will ensure you have the adventure you seek. You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

All you want and more in a beach house

We had a nice time, but mother nature was not very cooperative (very high winds for several days which kept people off the beach). The rental property really was wonderful though. Kitchen well equipped too.

We were positively blown away with Shore Daze! We picked this rental based off the online pictures and location. It truly felt more like a home and not a rental which is credit to the owners attention to detail on almost everything. The location is simply the best for spoiling yourself on vacation without having to drive, as it's only a few blocks to tasty morning donuts and daily seafood where we had endless fresh tuna with soy and wasabi that gave us flash-backs of sashimi in Japan. The real reason you want Shore Daze is Gulf Front location with sand hitting your feet as soon as you leave the stairs and the endless sound of waves at night. The only change I can recommend is for a new outdoor grill to match the quality of the home, but I sure loved having the older grill (then no grill) and it came with two propane tanks. We definitely plan on returning. Our two dogs also loved it!

The upgrades to the house are very nice! The kitchen is well stocked. The internet/wifi was awful, it was a DSL connection, but we were on vacation so we were fine. I am just glad I didn't have to work like I usually do on vacation.
Manager's Response: Thank you for letting us know about the internet speed. The owner heard you and has now upgraded the internet speed to 100 MBS. On your next visit, you will definitely be able to tell the difference.

Shore Daze was a great rental for our group. The kitchen is well stocked. You cannot beat the deck for enjoying the ocean views, sunsets and star gazing. The bedding is comfortable and we loved that the house has three king beds. The home is nicely furnished and well maintained. We have been coming to the Cape for over 20 years and own property on Indian Pass and Shore Daze is one of the rental properties that we will rent again!

This is my second stay at Shore Daze and we live it more every time we come to Cap San Blas. Many updates including all of the bathrooms since we first stayed in 2016. The addition of the outdoor shower made washing off from the beach a breeze. Updated kitchen was also a plus. Perfect size for 3 small families with a perfect room for bunking up the kids. We plan on making this our “go-to” spot for years to come! Only small suggestion would be to add/complete a walkway with pavers from the laundry room to avoid tracking in sand while collecting laundry.
Manager's Response: Thank you for your suggestion. To update you, pavers will not be needed. Even though Hurricane Michael destroyed the concrete under the house, it has all been replaced and the sand is no longer an issue.

Great for a multi-generational trip

We picked this house because it was ocean front, pet friendly and because of the bedroom arrangements. We went with two sets of grandparents, one that is disabled. We loved that three of the four bedrooms had king-sized beds. Plenty of room in the master bedroom downstairs for a crib if bringing a child. House was clean and had plenty of chairs in the living area and dining area for our group of 6 adults and 1 toddler. Love that the deck had a gate at the top of the stairs which was a necessity with a dog and toddler.

Exceptional home!
We rented ShoreDaze for a 3 family vacation to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. From the moment we selected ShoreDaze last June 2018, we have received wonderful service from Cape &Coast Vacation Rentals...helpful folks in the office, on-line convenience, and the Hospitality app for information and communication.
The house! ShoreDaze is beautifully furnished with beach colors and furniture. The kitchen is incredibly stocked with dishes, pots/pans, appliances and a myriad of utensils! We found the beds to be very comfortable, an important thing on vacation. We loved the newly rebuilt deck and screened porch, but what we really enjoyed was the space UNDER the house. We could set up our chairs and hammocks in the shade and enjoy the breeze. No umbrella or canopy needed. The house is close enough to the water to allow us to watch the kids playing without having to be right on top of them. This was the perfect home for our group of ten (4 kids) and we’re already discussing another stay there!
We were with walking distance of The Trading Post, Shoobies, Peachy’s, and the PSJ Shrimp Company, and a 15 minute drive to the State Park for pontoon boat rental and ConeHeads. We were also able to ride horses on the beach.

Gorgeous property and great location right on the beach. Beach not crowded and other groups were very nice. The waves were aggressive each day so it we were not able to enjoy the paddle boards and playing in the water. Overall, still a great trip.

The dolphins in the morning and again at night to the beautiful sunsets...picture perfect. We spent the day away at Port St.Joe at the Lighthouse and then drove over to Apalachicola as well. We love this house. This was the third year in a row that we've rented it (although an illness kept us from being able to come down last year)
The renovation was gorgeous. We're glad you kept the screened in table area. We used that a lot.
The grandkids loved that we were right on the beach and spent a lot of time there.
My wife was born and raised in Port St. Joe, so we're familiar with the area. We always make a day of it in Apalachicola. This year we drove to Carrabelle and enjoyed that area.
We like that the area is still somewhat undeveloped. That makes it a quiet getaway. You may have to go to Panama City for movies or entertainment but if that's not your thing, you can stay home, on the beach, with the nice weather and nice breeze.
There are not a ton of eating places, but St. Joe seems to be adding to what's there. We liked the Sunset Coastal Grill, Crazyfish and Peppers. Apalachicola has the Grill and a place we liked, Up The Creek. Toucan's on Mexico Beach is a local ICON. there are quite a few I didn't mention.
Overall loved the cottage and had a great time and hope to make next year our 4th visit

I have been to CSB for maybe twenty years. Shore Daze is a wonderful ocean front home. Most of the home has been remodeled . Everything was even better than expected. Screened porch and open porch, upper deck porch too. Kitchen very roomy and modern. Bedrooms comfortable. Master bathroom exceptional and it has the most modern bidet/toilet I have ever seen. Weber's Little Doughnut shop within walking distance.Dolphins most every day. Would certainly recommend this vacation home and plan to return. Cape and Coast friendly and professional.
