Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 13 stayed here over Thanksgiving week. Ages ranged from 1 1/2 years to 80 years old. The house had plenty of room for all. I would agree with other reviewers that additional outdoor seating would be nice. One upper balcony had 2 chairs and the other had none. I asked ahead of time about any baby items that were available and was told that there were none, but there was a high chair, pack & play, and a crib. That would have been nice to know ahead of time so that we didn't have to pack those items.

Port St. Joe is in the middle of a beach restoration project. They were trucking in sand right in front of the house while we were there. Our grandson loved watching all of the heavy equipment, but it did make it difficult to get to the beach. There is now a mountain of sand that you have to climb over to get to the beach. I'm not sure how long it will be like that, but you might want to check before your stay. It made it impossible for the elderly members of the family to access the beach.

Overall, this was a great house for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

There were a couple of problems but they were fixed quickly. The only downside was that the rate doubled for next year and we will not be able to go back.

We had plenty of space for 3 families and multiple kids. The fact that each bedroom had a king size bed was definitely a bonus. The pool was also great! If I wanted to reach and mention a negative it would be the outdoor furniture. Some of the furniture was rusted and falling apart. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Unlike many vacation rental properties, Cape and Coast actually sets the thermostat at a reasonable temperature so that when you arrive your home away from home is comfortable from the very first step! Southern Exposure is a wonderful property right on the a beautiful beach that due to so few homes being in this area, you feel like you are on your own private beach. The dogs had a fantastic time at the beach, and there is an outdoor shower and hose on the ground floor so that you can rinse everyone off before coming back inside, or retiring to the fantastic oceanfront pool.

Our entire family had a wonderful time here and thanks to the elevator, our elderly family members were able to stay in whatever bedroom they wanted no matter which floor it was on.

I highly recommend staying at any property with Cape and Coast, but especially Southern Exposure if you have a large group and a couple of 4 legged family members.

My family and I with our 2 dogs came to Port St. Joe again this year for vacation for the 4th time and loved every minute of it. This is our 2nd stay in a Cape and Coast property and everything was on point as usual. The property was ready on time as expected, and everything was in its place. Unlike many vacation rental properties, Cape and Coast actually sets the thermostat at a reasonable temperature so that when you arrive your home away from home is comfortable from the very first step! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The space was perfect for our group of 8, 3 couples and 2 singles, everyone had a king room with their own bath. The house fit our needs perfectly, we love having a private pool (by the end of the week the pool water did get cloudy and could have used some maintenance.) There are a few places touch up painting needs to be done, that's the only thing negative I could even say about the property. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a crock pot, we didn't need anything in addition to what was already there. The pantry is a huge plus, we were able to store all of our groceries and had plenty of space. The outdoor chairs aren't the brown chairs shown on the pictures they are white and plastic and could use some updating, some had cracks, there was one broken chair left behind the picnic table. My only other suggestion would be to have more outdoor seating on each deck. The second floor deck only had one chair for two rooms. Overall I would recommend this property to anyone, we have inquired about renting again in the future.

We have been to CSB several times but this was our first time at this rental property. Our family has grown and we needed more space and Southern Exposure didn't disappoint! For such a large house for many people, a second refrigerator would be helpful.

This house was PERFECT for our large family vacation of 11 people. The view from the main level deck was unbelievable and the weather the end of April was perfect. The area is exactly what we were looking for and we could not have been any happier. We had one issue with the heater for the pool but the property management got someone out to fix it in a very timely manner. Would highly recommend and will return as soon as we can.

This property is well laid out for a large family or multiple families. The elevator is a PLUS!! The kitchen as well stocked. We cooked every night. The air conditioning works great which is a big plus. The views are beautiful and the fact that you can drive down to the beach in two minutes was wonderful instead of lugging everything through the sand. We had a great week!! Overall great experience!! The only place we’ve ever seen with five king-size beds- a major plus!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great time at Southern Exposure! We loved the private pool and easy walk down to the beach. We were surprised by jellyfish in the ocean the first day or two (several of us got stung), but we didn't see any after that. The house was well-equipped - it even had a high chair, even though I had contacted the management company to find out before we left and they said there wasn't one. So we hauled our own all the way down there for no reason. :-( We loved that the adults all got a king room with their own bathroom - that's hard to find - and the kids loved the bunk room! There were a few small maintenance issues (broken chair legs on bedroom porch chairs, lights burned out in bathroom, bathroom door didn't lock) but they weren't a big issue for us and we didn't bother calling maintenance. We had a great time - and we all came home without any viruses! (Many of our friends were shocked that we were daring to go to Florida at this time. We hardly saw anyone outside our own family!) :-)

Our family - 2 great grandmothers (87 & 89), 4 adult children, 6 grandkids (7 - 15), and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Elevator was so handy. Rooms were attractive. Furniture comfy & plentiful. Pool was amazing. Kitchen well stocked! Only 2 suggestions - light on elevator call button needs to be repaired & a boardwalk to beach definitely needed. I spent quite a bit of time everyday picking sandspurs out of our dogs’ coats?& grandkids’ feet). Also, you might warn others not familiar with the area that bug spray (flies, mosquitoes, sand fleas, etc) is a great thing to have on hand!

This was a comfortable and attractive house which would accommodate a large number of people. It was actually to big for us but we wanted this location right on the beach. The elevator was a big help for moving in and out. Out month stay went by way too fast. I wish Cape and Coast could have found us a monthly rental for January and February in Indian Pass for 2021.

Wonderful location! The accommodations were perfect for our family. We brought our two 80y mothers, our 4 daughters and They each had their own room and bathrooms. The elevator was essential and it was easy to use. The management was very responsive. We will be back!

The pool was awesome and even though I was there in January, the heater made it possible to swim for 2 weeks. The beds were very comfortable, and other than the crashing surf of the Gulf, the area was quiet. All of the bathrooms (my usual pet peeve) were spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped for the cooking that we did. My only complaint was that all of the dining seating, both at the counter and the table, is raised-chair (basically barstools with backs) furniture. For people with physical difficulties (like my short legs and bad back), the seating is not comfortable. All of the other furnishings were "cushy & comfy", including the outdoor furniture on the decks/balconies. Southern Exposure has become one of my favorite properties to rent from Cape & Coast.

The only downside I could say is that the main area echoed a lot , so the children sleeping upstairs or downstairs would be awoken easily. Other than that, a perfect house!

Be mindful that a lot of the area is still recovering from Hurricane Michael. It did not hinder our experience, but there are some businesses that are still not up and running. Hence, going to the store or out to eat is at least a 15 min drive. Also, be mindful that this beach environment lends itself to the plethora of bugs that Florida has to offer. Just bring bug spray. Regardless, my experience was totally worth it, bites and all. I highly recommend this house and Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals. Top notch!

Overall we had a great experience. The home was beautiful and very well equiped with everything we needed. The staff was very helpful and quick to respond to any of our needs or question. We would have liked more shady areas outside, but the pool was great for cooling off. We loved the quiet area and spent most of our time at the house. There are not alot of restaurant options close, but we found a couple that were fun with great good. It was a fantastic home and vacation

Tremendously positive rental experience and fantastic vacation! Our vacation home was very well appointed, nicely furnished and exceptionally clean. Wonderful location on the beach. Pool was clean and heated to the perfect temperature. Highly recommend Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals. We will be repeat customers.

Roomy, plenty of chairs inside and out, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, very clean upon arrival, and a wonderful location on Cape San Blas. Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals responded immediately to an elevator issue. Wonderful week in stellar accommodations.

This is a well designed, newly constructed home with breathtaking views. The location, covered parking, layout, elevator, and pool make this property very desirable. This was our 20th stay at a Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals property and our first at Southern Exposure. This is a well designed, newly constructed home with breathtaking views. The location, covered parking, layout, elevator, and pool make this property very desirable. We had family and friends join us during our four stay and all absolutely loved this home. A great time was had by all! As always, the entire staff at Cape & Coast were easy to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a vacation rental in the Cape San Blas or Indian Pass area.

We could see the gulf and watched dolphins as they passed by nearly every morning. It was great to be able to see the beach from the house and we could walk down and back easily. There is a vehicle access just 2 driveways down so we could take all our gear on a golf cart or car. With 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths it didn't feel crowded at all and we hardly saw anyone else around except for a few people on the beach. Bring lots of groceries because there really aren't many places to eat or shop. Great place for low key vacation. Be sure to visit and Weber's Donut Shop. They are the best.

We loved this house! well stocked with everything needed. It provided privacy and togetherness. Each couple had their own master suite with private bath. Hard to find a home that provides 5 King suites and a bunkroom! The middle floor was a great gathering place--large kitchen/family area. Property had a lot of steps so the elevator was a godsend. The rental company was fantastic--great communication, responsive, and provided an app with all the details for our upcoming stay. The only issue we had during our stay was a noisy air conditioning system on the top floor and a french door that would not close properly.

Each couple had their own master suite with private bath. Hard to find a home that provides 5 King suites and a bunkroom! The middle floor was a great gathering place--large kitchen/family area. Property had a lot of steps so the elevator was a godsend. The rental company was fantastic--great communication, responsive, and provided an app with all the details for our upcoming stay.
