Very much enjoyed the property overall including the layout, cleanliness, quality, condition, working elevator, decor and location. Previously stayed at Mar-A-Lago 5 times but will not go back because of the condition and lack of response to maintenance reports that were never fixed. Would absolutely stay at Summer Dreams again.

The new pool was used often due to double red flags at the beach. Our grandchldren were in and out of the pool all day! One of the water heaters quit working and your staff answered our call immediately and had a repairman out there within an hour who did the repair quickly. Thank you!

Thank you for your review, we are so pleased to hear you loved the house. As for being haunted… the home was built in 2018, we don’t believe there has been ample time for the house to become haunted, but that is just our opinion :) . We hope to see you and your family again soon!

Cape and Coast staff

What an amazing family vacation!!! Our first full day there we found almost 50 baby sea turtles under the boardwalk between the dunes & the house. We watched the rescue team rescue all they could find and release them into the ocean. It was an amazing/once in a lifetime experience for both the children and adults. We had a wonderful time at the beach esp. since we were pretty much the only ones in our area. The house was incredible and absolutely beautiful!! And those bathrooms, amazing!! The view was stunning!! It was also nice having a Keurig. We didn't really have any major issues with the property. The only things were, we didn't love that the bunk beds didn't already have the sheets on them, and we had to make them, but we totally understand why they weren't made, they are very hard to make and there probably aren't a ton of renters that use them. We just figured since we said we had 3 children coming, they would have assumed they'd be sleeping in the bunk room, but I am sure the cleaning staff wasn't aware of that. The only mechanical issue was that the separate ice machine didn’t really work. We believe someone came and checked it while we were out, but it still didn't work, though honestly the ice machine was just an added bonus we weren't expecting, so we just bought ice like we planned on doing from the beginning. There was one corner cabinet door missing in the kitchen, but no one really noticed it or cared. Now there was a house being built right next door, so the banging wasn't that enjoyable, but we just tuned it out. They should be done with the main part of the buildout within the next month or so, so I wouldn't think it should affect that many future renters. Only suggestion would be to add extra pillowcases for all the extra pillows in the closets and purchase a new manual can opener because the one there wasn’t that great. All and all this was definitely a vacation we will remember!! Thanks for such an amazing experience! :)

The only thing that was odd is the bunk room the ladders going up to the bunks. You can get hurt on them because Theyv stuck out in the middle of the room. But the kids enjoyed the bunks. This is by far the most beautiful home we’ve ever stayed in. The location was great. Only a short distance to the beach. A much easier walk than the pictures show. Only 9 stairs up and 4 down. The house is decorated tastefully and had everything we needed. The elevator was great for loading and unloading. More outdoor furniture would have made it perfect. The view and sunsets over the water were breathtaking and we loved being able to take our puppy on to the beach. The community pool is very small. Really only enough room for one family at a time so we never used it. Cape San Blas is a quiet little town. An hour to the nearest Walmart but there is a Piggly Wiggly much closer. Not many restaurants or shops and the few that there are are just ok. Overall, a very relaxing and lovely vacation. Would definitely go back!

Cape and Coast staff

This is, I think, our 10th spring visiting CSB! We have rented many different homes but this one was really special! It had everything!!! The small neighborhood was quiet and uncrowned. Easy beach access. Nice community pool. Home very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful decor and comfy furnishings. The elevator makes getting luggage and groceries a breeze to bring in. Would definitely rent again!!!

Our family meets every year for a vacation get together. They came this year from LA, Austin, Mexico and Kentucky. We have stayed in several beautiful homes however Summer Dreams was the best yet. We have spent many family vacations at the Cape and have loved everyone of them. However, I can say and all of the family agreed that this one may have been the best. The house was more than we could have imagined, fully stocked, comfortable beds and beautiful ocean views! This is a great house. I hate that I will not be back but they have changed pet policy to disallow pets. For everyone without pets who can still go to Summer Dreams, it is beautiful and very well-equipped. I am very sad that the owners have changed the pet policy.

We love this house. This was our second stay at Summer Dreams, and we have no complaints. The house is comfortable, beautiful, and well-equipped. The master suite is divine, especially the lovely shower. Each guest was comfortable and felt very much at home. The elevator and pool access are wonderful amenities to have, and the location is perfect, especially with no homes to the south which offers several hundred yards of unoccupied beach. We love, love, love this house. Additionally, the people at Cape and Coast are awesome.

The dining table was large enough to fit our whole crew and the extra sitting area with the 4 swivel chairs was used constantly! The house stayed nice and cold even during the hottest part of the day. I would suggest an extra fridge for a house of this size and the ice maker was very slow. Thankfully we had several coolers which became our extra “fridges” and held our bags of ice that we had to purchase everyday which we did not expect to have to do.

We absolutely loved the house. The open floor plan on the 3rd floor was perfect for our large family. We also loved the area of the beach we were on. Only complaint was check in was later than we have experienced with other rental companies and the instructions on moving trash to the street were not clear at all. Original instructions said to leave trash in bins outside only. Then we got a note later saying it should be moved out to the street. Overall we had a wonderful time and agree this is the best house we have stayed in so far!

We were very thankful to have it as a replacement for our other rental post hurricane Michael as nice rentals are hard to come by right now. My only concern to share for those reading is that there is a community beach access walkway adjacent to the property. You will have other property owners and rental guests walking by your home frequently. We have always had homes with a private walkway, so that took some getting used to. Other than that, this is a fantastic rental home.

The home is wonderful, clean and luxurious. Likely one of the best we have stayed at the cape over the years. We were very thankful to have it as a replacement for our other rental post hurricane Michael as nice rentals are hard to come by right now. My only concern to share for those reading is that there is a community beach access walkway adjacent to the property. You will have other property owners and rental guests walking by your home frequently. We have always had homes with a private walkway, so that took some getting used to. Other than that, this is a fantastic rental home.

Sadly, we have just returned home from our stay at Summer Dreams, and I am already depressed. This house is absolutely stunning and very comfortable. We have been coming to the Cape for 10 years, and this was one of my favorite houses. The location is also a plus. We pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves for the majority. I plan to book another spring trip next year as soon as Cape and Coast opens the calendar. Cape and Coast is also very helpful and has landed in my top two rental companies for the cape. To the owners, thanks for sharing your spot of heaven with us, and, to the members of the Cape and Coast team, thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We also enjoyed our complimentary beach gear. We will see you next spring.

The only down side - if any was that due to hurricane Michael 6 months ago, the town and surrounding area had limited restaurants and places to go as they are still recovering. We would stay again!!! Overall - we Loved it!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Summer Dreams is an elegant home that looks like it is straight out of HGTV. It is beautifully decorated, has comfortable furniture and everything you need for cooking and relaxing. It is not far from the St. Joe Seafood Market which was a real plus. The neighbors are friendly and it is a great area for dogs. We felt fortunate to be able to stay in this house from Jan. 5 to March 9. Thank you Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals. This brand new house with appropriate styled furniture is right on the beach with gorgeous views of the most beatiful coastline. Everything was in perfect condition and we really enjoyed our week away from London.

It’s been a month since our magical beach holiday, and I miss everything about it! I can not adequatly describe the wonders of this beach house and location, so you will need to go see for yourself. Meeting you at the front door - an elevator which makes move in/out and shopping a breeze ... no more lugging luggage upstairs. Right out the elevator on the 3nd floor you are in the heart of this beautiful house. To the right - a Gourmet kitchen with miles of countertops and to the left - a perfectly decorated TV room, a cozy second living room and a large beautiful dining area. ALL of this with the most gorgeous view of the emerald waves breaking on the white sugar sands. Perfect views from the huge balcony ... a lovely outdoor living space with couches, high chairs, and lounge chairs overlooking the green vegetation and of course the beach. Still on the 3rd floor is lovely full laundry room (with the best washer and dryer I ever used in my life) and a guest bathroom - very convenient indeed. On the 2nd floor are 4 beautiful bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and to my surprise - a full balcony (accessible by 2 ocean front rooms) with amazing views. The 4th floor comprises of a master suite I can only dream of. The view from the 4th floor balcony is absolutely stunning. KUDOs to the builder for the layout and quality of this home, and the interior designer who tastefully appointed interesting and functional furnishings for this home - it is a beach house, which really is a home. There was NOTHING that I needed during my 10 day stay that I was not able to find in the house. TV room stocked with DVDs and games. Fast internet!! Gourmet Kitchen! Good water pressure. Ice maker. Beach gear available! Dolphin watching/swimming! Right next to boardwalk to beach, so very short walk to the waves. Best vacation home I have ever stayed in, and I will always come back when the opportunity presents itself in future. I hope it is soon! --Carin Rabie, Greenville Texas

I appreciated the thorough and accurate description of the home in the listing. It beat all my expectations! Modern, clean, and very spacious. Overall, it was a very beautiful home right on the beach, with excellent views from all three balconies. It even has the additional benefit of privacy with all the lots on the left side not having been built on yet. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to our friends!
