Last Resort

The house is beautiful, clean, has everything you need. You made it very easy to check in and check out. I loved the little boxes of gifts in the rooms. But you blew me away with the flowers and bringing the urns to the house! That was very thoughtful. Thank you with all my heart!

We loved the house. We had plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the porch to relax on and the view of the beach. We also loved the pool to swim at everyday especially with our2 year old grandson it was wonderful. Also loved the 2 outdoor showers for rinsing off after coming in from the beach! 👍. The kitchen was great and had plenty of dishes to allow for cooking. Beach was just a short walk away so that was nice and convenient. Property management team was very helpful with anything you need even restaurant recommendations. Overall our Mexico beach vacation was great!!!

My husband, toddler and I stayed here for a week. From the booking to check out, we were very impressed! Cape and Coast was so easy to work with and made us feel confident with home guides sent before our check in date. We have vacationed to various beaches since kids and I have NEVER seen a place as clean as this one. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of space. There is a short walk to the beach access, but not bad at all. We will be back for sure! Thank you for a stress free trip!

The property we rented was perfect for our family. Location and accommodations were great. Great and easy access to beach and amazing views from porch. Beautifully decorated!! Enjoyed having an area to sit and talk while those who chose to watch tv had separate area. Great closet space. Many many things we liked and we would definitely choose this house again!!

Front porch was amazing any time of the day! Beautifully decorated and nice coastal feel. We enjoyed everything about this house. Bring beach cart for the short walk to beach access. Also, bring pot holders and kitchen towels though!! We had none!! Make sure you are aware of areas that are eastern time and central time because this can be very confusing especially when dining out. Port St Joe has some nice restaurants!!

The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. For five adults, we each had sleeping room and food preparation room. We are all cooks and have plenty of space to enjoy preparing food around that big island. The pool was clean and beautiful. If I could find even one thing, it would be that the linen (maybe the bedspread)in the last bedroom on the left was stinky. I think the pillow covers and bedspread need to be cleaned very thoroughly and deodorize. It smelled like a dirty head. I kept spraying air freshener in there to try to mask it. But other than that, I would have to say the house was perfect! We will look for another house like that that would allow us to bring our dog next year. We missed him very much!

Between the wide, inviting front porch, the soothing and relaxing backyard pool (which was completely private and thoroughly enjoyed), to the coastal decor and comfortable furnishings on the interior of the house, this was a wonderful family beach vacation! There were exactly eight of us, and we fit perfectly. The sunsets from the front porch were magnificent, and you can’t get better than an early morning rocker and a cup of coffee—while watching the sun and surf tee up for a fresh day.The only negative is the beach access is approximately one block in either direction, and the two-lane highway can be quite busy to cross. Make sure you have a beach cart or wagon to tote your beach gear (though there is very easy parking at the beach access points).

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Last Resort.  We loved the home.  Loved watching the dolphins everyday and gazing at the incredible star filled sky at night. Having the pool was a huge bonus.  Thank you for sharing your home for us to enjoy and to create some wonderful memories.

We had a great time again at Last Resort. The people at the rental company  are very professional and courteous.  We had a small problem with A/C unit. the company had the HVAC contractor at the property in less than an hour. The problem was corrected within 30 minutes. We will surely stay here again.

My only thing would be the outside wasn’t as clean as the inside...dog poopie around the pool. Also you should add beach chairs to the list of things to bring😊

Date of stay - 6/9/17 This is my second year with this Rental! The Last Resort was an absolute breathe of fresh air! The house was decorated exquisitely , the pool an extra added bonus. Everything was incredibly clean! There was only one problem.. 1 week was not long enough!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. This is our 2nd time staying at “The Last Resort” and our family absolutely loves it. The location cannot be beat, right on 98 with unobstructed views of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico on the quite end of Mexico Beach. It’s the perfect place for a cozy family vacation. Two of our favorite features are the spacious front porch and the private backyard pool. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possible need … full size washer & dryer … “two” outdoor showers … comfortable beds. For your convenience, bring extra bath linens. The No Worries Vacation Rentals staff is quick to respond and a pleasure to work with … thank you for a great experence.

We had a wonderful time! Love The Last Resort! Wish the pool had been warmer and we could have enjoyed it! Hope you can resolve the bear in the garbage situation! June and I left there and came to Destin for a week to celebrate our 50th anniversary and we both agree we wish we had stayed there! Maybe we can come in September next year and stay 2 weeks for our 51st! Angie and Betty made it home safely. We are all looking forward to next year! Praying Betty will still be able to come! The house was very clean, beds comfortable, the grandkids loved the pool, and the view of the beach from the front porch was simply amazing. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy family and friends. Close to the beach, great view, and dolphins playing right out front. What else can you ask for. Company folks were nice to work with. Everything was as represented and better.
