Little Bit of Sunshine

We traveled from the Lovelaceville area in Paducah KY to Mexico Beach & had the best stay at Little Bit of Sunshine! Such a perfect house & layout for a large group/multiple families. We had a group of 6 adults & 7 kids 4 years old & under with plenty of room!! We had originally booked a condo that fell thru last minute which worked out in our favor. This house was so much better for our crew! The area is so quiet & peaceful, we were practically the only ones on the beach the whole week. Having the pool made it even better!

This house was incredible... brand new development and the house was built recently. We had 16 people with us and there was plenty of room for us all. It seems like they spent a ton of time thinking through every little detail. We also loved the area, the beach wasn't overly busy like what we've experienced at Destin, Panama, 30A, and Hilton Head. We found there to be plenty of restaurants and things to do as well. We will absolutely stay here again! The hosts were accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had.

Gorgeous new home that feels fresh and inviting. The wasn’t one thing I feel like it didn’t have, even came with a scrub daddy in the kitchen pack. Between the owners and the rental company this place was prepared so well that it felt like you just show up and enjoy. We used instacart to get some groceries and then just enjoyed the stay. Pro tip, get a golf cart and packing your family and gear to the beach is a breeze, it goes all the way down to the sand. The best part is the beach is peaceful and relaxing, you’re not shoulder to shoulder with thousands of people to block your view, no waking up early just to find a spot. Will stay again.

Cannot recommend enough! Large house with plenty of space for our group of 16. Beautiful pool at the house and a neighborhood pool that had a beach view. The beach is so convenient but not crowded! Tons of crab hunting and shell hunting. We even enjoyed seeing the fighter jets fly by.

We had the best time staying here! The place was absolutely beautiful…spacious rooms, a gorgeous interior, and a stunning private pool. The community pool was also a great bonus and just a short walk from the beach, which was perfect for the older kids when they needed a break from the sand. We absolutely loved the quiet, secluded beaches, and the kids had so much fun collecting seashells every day. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing family getaway! 🌴☀️🏖️

We were one of the first to be able to stay at this amazing property. Everyone had our own room, we put our elderly parents on the main floor so that they did not have to navigate up and down the stairs. If they did go upstairs they used the elevator. There is a trick to the elevator make sure the door is completely closed! They used the kitchenette downstairs, had their own bathroom and exit straight to the pool. The kids were on the middle floor. They absolutely loved the two bunk bedrooms each with a bathroom. We had six teenage boys, two preteen boys in the bunk rooms and the two little girls in another main room on the second floor. We had one adult family stay in the additional room on the second floor and then had another adult family stay upstairs. The kitchen area is huge, large pantry and many cooking utensils. You have the ability to talk, converse and all sit at the large table. We had amazing meals and wonderful conversation. We lived on the decks outside to watch the sunsets when we were not on the beach. we were able to rent beach equipment and it was a quick walk. I would recommend having some sort of cart or Carrier for large beach equipment. You must put up and take down chairs and umbrellas daily. The beach was extremely serene and my kids enjoyed running and playing in the ocean. I loved sitting by the pool early morning, we definitely needed to heat the pool as we went in October. The kids loved winding down at the pool at the end of the day. We used the shower rinse off area outside after beach activities to make sure we didn’t track any sand inside. There is a washer dryer directly in the garage, which is amazing for beach towels. I would highly recommend this location bring groceries and spend the week at the beach. The hosts are amazing. If money were no option I would come year all the time. Thank you for this amazing place to spend quality time with family!

Our family of 15 stayed at Little Bit of Sunshine, and it truly lived up to its name! There was something for everyone — and more than enough space for us all to relax, play, and connect. We especially loved the large dining table and spacious island where we could all gather for meals — such a rare find for a group this size. The private pool was a huge hit with the kids and the adults, and having the beach just a short walk or golf cart ride away made everything effortless. A huge thank you for providing beach chairs and toys — one less thing to pack, and so appreciated! And the beach itself? Incredible. We couldn’t believe we had it almost entirely to ourselves all week. It felt like our own slice of paradise. The Sugar Sands community pool and gym were also a bonus — clean, convenient, and right on the beach. The charm of Mexico Beach made the trip even more special. This little town is full of friendly people, and fabulous food. From start to finish, this vacation was exactly what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful, and completely unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

There were 14 of us total with more than enough space to spread out….absolutely perfect! Mexico Beach was gorgeous…we almost had the entire beach to ourselves! We enjoyed the most wonderful week at Mexico Beach with our family because of this amazing house. We had plenty of room for the 14 of us. The house was clean as a pen when we arrived. It had all the amenities that we needed for the week. I especially appreciated the elevator because of bad knees. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable week at the beach.

We had my sisters’ families and parents and our kids all come together and it was PERFECT! So clean and stocked with everything we needed to be on the beach or by either pool ALL day, then cook together and just enjoy each other! Then we were all able spread out and sleep comfortably… we can’t wait to go back! The beach was completely private and the other owners in the neighborhood were so kind! This was the PERFECT beach get away!

Amazing alternative to Panama City Beach or 30A!!! Let me start by saying we have vacationed to many other beach locations like Destin, PCB, 30A, Hilton Head, and gulf shores. Little Bit of Sunshine and Mexico Beach is by far our new favorite!!! If you like quiet beaches then this is your place. We had a total of 15 people on the beach this week and according to the locals that is very common! Little bit of Sunshine is a premium luxury beach house and is well thought out from a layout perspective to having two sets of washers and dryers! We recommend eating at the white marlin when you go! Our kids loved swimming in the pool. My favorite part was drinking coffee in the morning on the top deck while listening to the ocean! They also have a community pool and gym just a short 3 minute walk away! The boardwalk entry to the beach is very nice as well and the sand is fine white soft sand. I’ve never seen white sand like this before!! If you love the beach, want to vacation in luxury, and want to do it without the crowds then this is your place! Can’t recommend it enough!!

Our recent stay at A Little Bit of Sunshine was exceptional. The home is thoughtfully designed with a floor plan that easily accommodates multiple families, offering both privacy and comfortable shared spaces. The beach access was quiet and convenient, providing a peaceful retreat just a few minutes away from the house. We were particularly impressed with the well-stocked gourmet kitchen, which made it easy to prepare meals for a large group — everything we needed was already there. The private elevator was also a fantastic addition, making it much easier to move between floors with luggage and groceries. This home was the perfect setting for a spring break trip with our kids and another family with kids of the same age. We loved the pool, the easy access to the beach, and all of the amenities of the home. Everyone had such great space for sleeping and activities. The elevator was a wonderful asset as I was recovering from knee surgery just prior to our trip. The golf cart recommendation was perfect for our needs to carry our beach equipment and toys from the home to the beach. We will surely be back and are so glad we had the opportunity to experience this fantastic home and beach location.

This was exactly what I needed and when I needed it! I had been through a personal tough few months and enter a Little Bit of Sunshine ☀️ My husband and myself went with two other couples. We each had our own masterly decorated on suite bedrooms and access to the spectacular views this gated community has to offer. Morning coffee with a peaceful easy feeling😉 Easy access to the Gulf for a walk and shelling. Another option, sit by or a dip in the private pool. The kitchen is well equipped for in home dining or adventure to nearby restaurants. There is plenty of room and activities to go again with my family of 11! I encourage you to go check it out… you’ll be back again😉

This was our first time staying on Mexico Beach. It was so nice not dealing with the crowds on 30A. The beach was gorgeous, the house is a short walk or golf cart ride away. The heated pool in the back yard was the kid’s favorite! The house is very spacious and accommodating to multiple families. The kitchen was well stocked and the gas grill out back was excellent. We would definitely love to return.

We came here for Thanksgiving week with the whole family. We have been to Destin, Panama, Ft Walton, and 30A, but this was our first time in Mexico Beach. We were tired of the crowds at the other places, so we wanted to give Mexican Beach a try and we have found our new favorite beach location! We had the gorgeous beach to ourselves! Also, this house is just so nice. There are lots of great hangout areas but you can also have privacy when you need it because there is room to spread out. It was perfect for our multi-generational family. The bigger grandkids loved the "kids TV area" while the smaller grandkids enjoyed hanging out on the bottom floor TV area. We also spent a couple evenings outside watching basketball while the kids swam in the heated pool. I have to say, this was my favorite vacation with the grandkids. No one wanted to leave and everyone is already asking when we can return.

We had a fabulous stay at this amazing beach home. The location is unbeatable with a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to restaurants, parks, and places to explore. The home is spacious, well equipped, beautifully decorated, and oh so cozy!!! The home elevator sure came in handy when one of our family members pulled out his back and found it difficult to go up and down the steps. If you are planning a beach vacation with family and/or friends you will not be disappointed with this home. I can not wait to return!!!

What an incredible experience! This rental home is a little (actually not so little) slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The photos do not do this place justice. My favorite spot has to be the top deck, where I enjoyed my morning coffee while soaking in the ocean breeze. It's the perfect place for an afternoon cool drink too! But honestly, it’s hard to choose a favorite feature. The pool and surrounding area are absolutely delightful, providing a perfect oasis for relaxation. Then there’s the huge top floor sitting area and kitchen, which are both spacious and beautifully designed – ideal for gathering with friends and family. The kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. This is without a doubt the most exquisite beach home we've stayed in. Every bedroom and bathroom offers such privacy, making it feel like a personal retreat. There are 4 KING BEDROOMS! Plus, there are two adorable bunk rooms that are such a treat for the kids! In the middle of the kids bunk rooms is a tv room/playroom with 2 TVS where the kids could hook up their gaming consoles or watch movies and TV. And let’s not forget about Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe’s incredible food scene – it’s a tough call on what’s better! Mexico Beach just feels like old beach town Florida to us. We hope everyone doesn't find out about this hidden gem. We absolutely love it here! Can't wait to return!

Attention vacation seekers! Stop here! Quit looking for houses because you have found THE ONE! The home was perfect! We brought our dog and things were so easy. So if you have a small well behaved spoiled dog this is the place for you. We stayed in the downstairs apartment (for lack of a better word) This space was just great for us. We went with two other couples and everyone took a floor. Everyone had privacy and beautiful accommodations. We will go again! This place is the most beautiful home we have ever stayed in during a beach trip. When you open the home door the home smells new. The beach was private and relaxing. So many beautiful shells were available unlike the Destin beaches. Book your time now before WE take it!

I hardly know where to begin! This house just blew my mind from the minute we pulled in until we said our goodbyes a week later! Everything about it was just perfect! The size from the outside is deceiving bc once you walk in and begin to explore, it just opens up into this stunning, spacious, beautifully decorated and family-friendly space! The 4 Master suites/bathrooms were all so beautiful! We didn’t have any children with us but it would be so perfect bc of the two bunk rooms with their own bathrooms and shared hangout room with not 1, but 2 tvs!! Kids would never wanna leave!! The third floor was just exquisite with the comfortable sectional and huge tv! And that Kitchen!! Oh my! Truly the best! It also had a bonus pantry with an extra refrigerator and tons of storage space. We all loved the large dining table too! There was a little bit of walk to the beach, but I was not complaining! A golf cart would come in handy!😉 Once we got to the beach, it was like our very own private sanctuary! I was most definitely in Heaven! Overall, it was probably the best beach week for me EVER! Lovely accommodations, perfect weather, delicious food and great friends made for a fantastic week!

The perfect house for multi family getaway! Everything in the home was so well thought out. The bunk rooms were perfect our kids. The pantry, including a second refrigerator, was by far the most convenient thing. The pool is a great size and wonderful outdoor space. Did I mention there are tv’s everywhere?! There wasn’t one thing we needed. This house is stocked perfectly. We came the week of July 4th, expecting crowds and it was VERY LOW KEY! One of the few spots in Mexico beach that is dog friendly. The community includes a gym overlooking a very spacious community pool that ours kids loved. We recommend renting a golf cart if you have little ones. We cannot wait to come back!!!

This house and neighborhood is just stunning! There is plenty of space for multiple families to stay and each have their own bathrooms and plenty of spaces to relax. I love that there are great spaces for the kids to sleep and hang out along with a private pool. Short walk to the beach, community pool and workout space. It seems private there are so few people! We loved that there was so many shells to find and so much wildlife to watch. Short drive to several great restaurants and easy drive to the airport. Couldn’t recommend more!

We stayed at this beautiful home with another family of 4 and there was plenty of space. This home can very comfortably fit 16 people. We never felt cramped as the home has 3 living areas and 2 kitchens. The kids loved their bunk room space with 2 large tv’s ready for gaming systems and private bathrooms. The king beds in the 4 adult suites were very comfortable and private. We were very surprised by the pool area in the back yard. This pool is large for a back yard pool and has a very nice area for grilling and TV for watching our sporting events outside. The neighborhood also has a large community pool with ocean views and a community gym that is well equipped with very nice gym equipment. Over all this was definitely a 5 star house.

We loved our stay at Little Bit of Sunshine. From the private pool to the close proximity to the beach, it was perfect! If you like having the beach to yourself, Mexico Beach is the place for you! The boardwalk provides easy access to the gorgeous waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We looked forward to taking a dip in the community pool after a relaxing day at the beach. This house fit our group perfectly. It was so nice that the kids had two different bunk rooms with a living area joining them. The kids loved that they had their own personal space with two TVs to accommodate their video games. The adults loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. The balconies were perfect for drinking coffee with a view of the Gulf of Mexico. Another perk was the outdoor space with a TV. It was perfect for watching an afternoon ballgame by the pool! We highly recommend this house for larger groups, especially those with kids. We are looking forward to visiting again.

This rental is designed perfectly for multiple families. The king rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The kids area has great bunk beds and an awesome hang out space. The kitchen has everything you could need, way more than other rentals we have visited. The appliances are high end, the pantry has tons of space and there is an extra fridge and freezer, not to mention an additional one in the kitchenette on the first floor which is key with multiple families. The pool at the house is really nice and there is an additional pool and gym at the clubhouse. I have never been on that private of a beach on the panhandle, with 30A getting so busy we really loved our time at this rental. Perfect beach getaway!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent beach house and it truly exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the stunning property and all it had to offer. The house features not one, but two living rooms which provided plenty of room for our group to spread out and relax. The four king bedrooms with private bathrooms were luxurious and allowed for maximum comfort and privacy. The boys and girls bunk rooms with a kids media room were a hit with our little ones, keeping them entertained for hours on end. The private pool was the perfect spot to cool off and enjoy the sunshine, while the community pool and gym offered even more options for recreation. One of the highlights of our stay was the private beach, which felt like our own secluded paradise with the nearest development over a mile away. The massive beachfront area shared only with other homes in the neighborhood provided a sense of exclusivity that made our stay truly special. The gated entrance added an extra layer of security and peace of mind, while the professional decor throughout the house gave it a touch of elegance. The large outdoor gas grill was perfect for cooking up delicious meals, and the three refrigerators and two washer and dryer sets made it easy to accommodate our group. Overall, this beach house is a five-star gem that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. I can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this incredible setting!

This house is absolutely amazing. It’s close to the beach and is so functional for families. It has three living areas for if you have kids or multiple families. The kids hang out area was a surprise for our kids. That area has 2 TVs in the hang area and the bunk beds were fun too. Both sides on the hang area has the bunk beds each with their own bathrooms. If it wasn’t for the amazing pool and beach, it would have been hard to get the kids out of their rooms and hangout area because there were able to easily hook up their gaming system to the HDMI. The adults have amazing space too, such as a bathroom and king bed in every room. The pool at the resident is fun for a quick dip and for more fun you can head to the community pool and gym before going to the beach. This place has everything! We had so much fun. It was clean and the management people/hosts were very nice. We will certainly be returning for future visits!
