I have always dreamed of establishing a tradition of taking my extended family to the beach. Little did I now this house would be part of that tradition. My 5 year old thinks this is our beach house. We love this place. The newly paved drive was a huge upgrade and the elevator makes unpacking a breeze. We have come here 2 years in a row and can't wait to come back.

This is our 3rd time staying at St Somewhere ! We love the location of beachfront and private pool for our young grandchildren. It’s tastefully decorated! And was especially clean this time!

The house was great. Super spacious. Very clean. Great beds. Pool was really great. Comfortable furniture throughout. Great view from all floors. Elevator was so handy with groceries and luggage.

What a way to spend Thanksgiving. My husband, our 2 kids and my parents could not have had a better time. The beach was gorgeous and the weather delivered! The house was so great - very spacious, comfortable and clean. We were not disappointed. The details online matched what we experienced for the week. We can't wait to go back!

The home was very warm and inviting. I would highly recommend it! The dishwasher needs to be cleaned and it could be a little cleaner for the amount it costs but I would not let that keep me from renting it again. BEAUTIFUL HOME!!

We have been coming to the Cape for 16 years and have always stayed in beach front homes. This house did not disappoint and lands in our top 3 favorites. The house was just "easy" to vacation in. Very convenient. The house is bright and clean, decorated beautifully in a simple modern beach house style. Very welcoming and comfortable. Nicely stocked kitchen (loved the butlers pantry that allowed the kitchen to stay uncluttered and clean), comfortable beds and furniture and great views and porches. The elevator was a plus as well as the easy walk to the beach on the short board walk with only 4 steps at the end to the sand. The pool was very nice too but we prefer having the pool on the beach side of the house instead of behind it because you tend to use it more if it is in front. But that is really the only ding we can mention. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

5 STARS. We have been coming to the Cape for 16 years and have always stayed in nice ocean front homes. This house makes it into our top 3 favorites. The home was clean, bright and beachy modern with a great layout. Gorgeous views from the many porches. The house is spacious enough without being so big that it becomes inconvenient to navigate. The elevator and also the short walk to the beach on the boardwalk with just 4 easy steps at the end into the sand greatly added to that convenience. The furniture and beds were all quality and comfortable. LOVE the butlers pantry that allowed the kitchen to stay clean and clutter free during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked to boot. The pool was very nice although I wish it were in front of the house but that is the only minus I can even think of to say. We were worried that the beach would be too crowded. (Normally we stay further North because it is less crowded) But to our pleasant surprise it was not crowded at all. The management team was a pleasure to work with and we really appreciated that. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and hope to come back soon.

If you have a family member with a handicap then this is the house for you. Husband has an extremely hard time with walking and the elevator was a blessing. Views are outstanding, the very best stocked kitchen for a rental. Overall it was a great experience. Highly recommend this property!

We've been to the area and Cape many times. This was our first stay in a home on the beach. Beautiful house and great location. The elevator was a must for my wife with limited mobility. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

This house far exceeded expectations.  My wife and I, 2 kids (2YO & 3YO), and our mothers stayed here for a week in September.  If you are traveling with little ones or folks who have trouble getting around, this is the place for you.  The elevator and the boardwalk make everything easily accessible for everyone. The home was furnished with everything necessary, but honestly, we spent most of our time on the balconies watching the ocean, sunset and stars.  There is a grill, but it is charcoal, so come prepared. The beach rentals were great - we used the kayak, paddle board, chairs and umbrella everyday.  In hindsight, I wish I would have rented a cart to haul stuff to/from the beach each day.  The beach is literally in the backyard, but by the 5th day, I was tired of carrying everything back and forth.  If you plan to fish from the beach, visit the bait shop across the street for all your needs and advise.  The pool is nice, but we spent most days on the beach and felt like we had it all to ourselves at times with so few people.  The calm waters and very small waves were perfect for our toddlers, due in part to the beach running North/South.  Also makes for amazing sunsets over the gulf.  Some of the stores on the cape were closed a few days, so be prepared or plan to drive 20 min into Port St. Joe.  St. Joe Shrimp Co. at Simmons Bayou has the freshest fish around and was great to pick up dinner one night.  Longbill's restaurant was a great spot for lunch that was about a mile down the road.  There is kayak access to the bay about a mile away and I attempted to search for scallops (Sight fishing was tough, so if you plan to do this, make sure you have water shoes and gloves).  Loved the ability to enjoy a campfire on the beach, and the kiddos did too while chasing crabs and playing with sparkers - firewood was available across the street at the gas station.  If you have a large group, pay attention to when trash day is and be sure to get the can to the curb (it's a bit of a walk, but not bad).Overall, we had an amazing trip!  We plan to return and this will be the place we choose.  Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at St. Somewhere mid July during the COVID pandemic. While we were very nervous leading up to the trip, we were thrilled that this property and the location was very “social distancing” friendly. We were a group of 3 couples with 4 kids and there was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy each other’s company, or have our own space. Beds were comfortable and everything felt very clean and crisp. The elevator was appreciated with all the stairs in the property and we had zero issues with it. The AC kept up even though it was very hot. The kitchen was fun too cook in, and although we could have used a Pizza Pan it was well equipped. The only thing we seemed to lack were kitchen towels and the bath towels were quite limited. There was enough for everyone to have one, they just needed to keep track of them. I expect that the COVID situation had something to do with that. The new boardwalk was handy, very close to the beach, and beautiful views. The location was good, as there as not as many houses in that section as there are further up the Cape, so the beach was not crowded and the water and sand was beautiful. We had a great visit and hope to come back some day!

If you ever stay at one of our homes again and find you need absolutely anything for the kitchen please contact us as we keep these types of things in stock for just this reason and would be glad to bring it to you! We do only provide 1 towel per person that the home sleeps. You will find this in our contract we send out to our guests. We do recommend our guests bring extra beach towels and such just incase. Date of stay - 4/8/18  There is a total of 5 of us ladies that have been taking a trip together every year for the past 15 years. Nothing can top off our annual trip to Cape San Blas and definitely no other house can top this one. The views from the decks can't be describe in words!!! We were so happy and pleased with this trip that we have now found our spot from here on out! Thank you very much for everything for making this an unforgettable trip!!! See you next year!!!

When debating with my gal friends on where our trip was going to be, we seen Cape San Blas and how pretty the beaches were. Did a lot of researching on what house would be perfect to accommodate us and our needy needs we all seem to have (a bunch of Women). There is a total of 5 of us ladies that have been taking a trip together every year for the past 15 years. Nothing can top off the trip to Cape San Blas and definitely no other house can top off this house. The views from the porch can't be describe in words!!! All of us were so happy and pleased with this trip that we have now found our spot from here on out and it has taken 15 years to find this out.
