Sugar Magnolia was great. We especially loved the easy walk down to the beach on the boardwalk, the lower level (exterior) bathroom and the pool area. We had everything we needed in the house to make our week on SGI extremely pleasant.

This is an amazing home that is on the beach. It has a short boardwalk to the beach so having a beach cart wasn’t even necessary. Very clean as well. Only complaint was one of the main bedrooms (bedroom to the right when walking into the house from street) needs to have the bed replaced. It was MAJORLY uneven and had major lumps in it. Property management needs to replace it asap.

The house is just adorable. This was our 4th visit and we are planning on booking a 5th. The beds are comfy, the deck is amazing, the pool is perfect and we loved the addition of a play area under the house!!! We love this little house so much.

Beautiful house with gorgeous view! Being right on the beach was so nice. The house was clean with comfortable beds. Fully stocked kitchen, only thing that I would improve on is the stove, older and burners were not level. Pool was amazing!!! I had the pleasure of meeting some of the maintenance staff and they were great! You won’t regret renting this house!

As soon as I walked into Sugar Magnolia, it became our new favorite beach house. The house was comfortably furnished and beautifully appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms had the most comfortable beds! They were amazing! The gulf-side deck stole the show -- enjoyed our coffee there every morning while watching the beautiful sunrises, and ended the day with a glass of wine, listening to the waves lapping on the shore while watching the most amazing star show I've ever seen. I've truly never seen such an amazing night sky! The pool area is stunning, although it was a little too chilly to enjoy it fully in January. So, we've already booked another week later this year when it will be warm enough to enjoy the pool area to the fullest! We can't wait :)

What a wonderful house that from the moment we walked in, felt like our home away from home. Wonderfully decorated from top to bottom and we have never stayed at a rental with such well stocked kitchen. The outside shower and bathroom were an awesome bonus to the outdoor space by the pool. Amazing sunrise views off the back deck and many a cocktail was enjoyed during sunset. Convenient location to the lighthouse, store, and restaurants. We ate at the parrot(get the grouper sandwich!) and the pizza place has great lunchtime subs. We also got some amazing shrimp from the fish guy across from the lighthouse. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here. Already booked for next year!

Wow!! Ever walked in the door of the place you were staying and immediately felt like you were home?? Sugar Magnolia is exactly this place!! View of the gulf is breathtaking before even walking onto the deck. The interior is tastefully designed and the decor is spot on. You couldn’t ask for a more appointed kitchen. Every pot, pan, utensil, dishes and glassware for use both inside and out, a regular filter coffeemaker and a Keurig!!, toaster, crockpot, bakeware, etc. Every cabinet and drawer was a surprise. There’s even a washer/dryer inside and a gas grill on the pool deck. There’s even a placemat and food and water bowls for your family pet. The beachfront deck inspires your favorite beverage, a good book and the desire to let the waves wash away your cares. The boardwalk to the beach allows for long walks in the sand and a great sunset viewing venue. The pool and gazebo provide a private oasis for relaxing. Treat yourself to some eclectic restaurants, the lighthouse, the park and a day trip to Appalachicola while enjoying the amenities Sugar Magnolia has to offer. We will return home soon ????

Very private, comfortable and stylishly decorated. The sunrises and sunsets from this location are spectacular! We enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning on the deck overlooking the ocean and a drink in the afternoon while relaxing under the pool pavilion. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We are looking forward to a return visit. Loved it!

Getting ready to leave this great property! The house is exactly as it appears on the website. Well stocked and then sum. We had great weather this week so did not use the pool much, but WOW. The sunraise views off the back deck are amazing. No complaints from us. not much to do on the Island this time of year and not alot open. If coming here in Oct, Nov and Dec, do some research. Local markets are well stocked. Shout out for Dinner would be Beach Pit, BBQ. Great Ribs and BBQ and real brekfast is served. Only thing this property needs is an instruction book for TV's and intenet, trash pickup and other need to know items. We had a car and did not need a golf chart. The info we recieved was a little off on the towels. You get a 2 bath towels per bedroom and 2 beach towels per bedroom. Overall all we enjoyed our stay on St Georges Island at Sugar Magnolia's and would come back !!!!!!!

Sugar Magnolia was everything we dreamed of and more! The residence is spacious, very clean, and oceanfront! The bedrooms and bathrooms provided plenty of room for everyone in our family. The views of the beach were mesmerizing. We had fun in the new pool area when we wanted a break from the beach. There was a full outdoor bathroom downstairs as well as a fish cleaning sink. It was great to have access to the propane grill! The house had all of the amenities you needed. The town of SGI was very welcoming with plenty of things to do. We highly recommend staying at the Sugar Magnolia…we will definitely be back soon!

We LOVE this little Beach house!!! It starts with the most wonderful inviting view. We spent whatever time we weren't at the beach or the amazing pool on the back deck. The view is everything. we even opted for dinner in most nights to eat on the deck and just revel in the view. Even tho there are big houses full on either side we barely heard any noise and had nice privacy. The bed was so comfy!! Linens so soft! We rented the house again for the spring on our last day and we cannot wait to go back. Loved it!!

We did enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the deck, relaxed with a glass a wine and the dolphins were swimming about most mornings. The pool was spectacular, loved the design, it is perfect for those who want to lay in the sun and for the little ones a splash pool. The layout and space worked well, the furniture and beds were comfy. The outdoor shower and bathroom were also nice to have. This is a great house; you will not be disappointed.
