Absolute Deckadence

Loved absolutely everything! Absolute Decadence was exactly that! Beautiful inside and out, it was nothing short of picture perfect! Incredible views took our breath away daily with the stunning sunsets every night! Lovely furnishings in every room, the house was so comfortable and such a great location, right next to boardwalk to beach and walking distance to our favorite shops and restaurants! Thank you Cape and Coast for great service! The very best vacation ☀️

Our first trip to Cape San Blas exceeded all expectations. The house was amazing. Views were awesome. Pool was great. House amazing and loved the elevator. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again!!

We came back to the Cape after a 10 year absence with my in-laws, sister-in-law, our kiddos along with their significant others and 2 small puppies. While some of the Cape has been built up the peacefulness, beauty and calm still remain. The house was nice, clean and large enough for our family of 11 and the elevator was a bonus. The management was very responsive when we did need them for a few small incidents. I wish we would have know to bring our own hand towels/dishcloths for the kitchen, my only small issue. Overall, a great place to stay!!

We had the most wonderful week at Absolute Deckadence! The house was absolutely perfect! It was beautiful, clean, and so comfortable and spacious. The layout was wonderful for us with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. The pictures give a very good description, and I would say it was even better in person. We will definitely try to stay at this house again. Having the pool made a huge difference, and we enjoyed it so much!

The house was clean and beautiful. The location was okay because we shared a boardwalk with 3 other houses, which the gate around the pool was only bars so we saw everyone. Overall would stay with Cape and Coast again.

  Absolute Deckadence was the perfect stay for our large family. We had plenty of room and everything we needed to accommodate the perfect beach vacation. We had a couple of small maintenance issues, and the customer service was outstanding! They were out to fix/repair within the hour, and we had no disturbance to our vacation. Would love to stay here again!

We had a really nice stay with 11 adults and 3 teens. Beautifully decorated house with well-stocked kitchen. Great outdoor furniture. The house layout was comfortable and had enough separated areas to allow us to spread out and still be comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and spa, but be aware it is a spa and not a hot tub so it only warms 10 degrees above outside temp. That said, it was 77F outside so we still enjoyed it during the Christmas/New year week! We’d recommend getting bikes for easy transportation to a couple of local spots for seafood, ice cream, liquor store, grocery. House was generally well maintained. A few issues arose but rental agency was quick to respond. Couldn’t get air conditioner serviced due to illness of a member of our party, so top floor was too warm to sleep. A few other relatively minor issues were resolved promptly.

This house is spacious and beautiful. The elevator was essential. The pool area is so nice and the semi private boardwalk to the beach was great. We enjoyed the decks and porches, especially at sunset. The fully stocked kitchen made meals enjoyable. We like having an extra living room for the kids and the refrigerator and ice machine by the pool. We can’t wait to go back!

The pool lights were not working well and night swimming with kids is hard in the dark. One of the bunk beds was sandy on arrival. Plenty of furniture on the main level screen in porch, but again, not really kid friendly as it's all very high bar chairs (plus our handicapped family member). And we frequently ran out of forks in between wash loads. We would love to stay in this house again, though. Again just some small details that take it to a 9/10 instead of 10/10.

Only advice I'd give the owners is that it seemed like all of the knives in the kitchen were dull, and we really needed a pair of scissors....MINOR complaints. Lots of dishes, so we had no lack of those when needed. The location is great. Seems there is no truly congested place on the Cape, and although this house shares the boardwalk with two other homes, we always had a nice slice of beach front when we made our way down there each day.

For example: the ice maker in the kitchen was not working( there was a great ice maker in the poolside bar, but several flights down.)The kitchen sink sprayer would not turn off properly. It works very well in having enough space to enable togetherness when wanted and alone time when needed. Our only disappointment was with the hot tub. The list of amenities for the house states the spa is heated at no extra charge. The older members of our group looked forward to spending time in the heated spa to soothe away aches and pains as we did the last time we rented the house. The hot tub was not heated. We called 3 days in a row for service to get the tub heated without any luck. We learned by chance encounter with the pool cleaning staff that we had to pay for the pool to be heated in order to heat the hot tub. It would have been useful to be told this during any of the 3 calls made to management instead of being promised they would come out and service it. The listing needs to make this clear on the website. So beware if this is something you'd like to use as it will cost a lot of extra money. Other than this snafu, we all enjoyed our stay on Cape San Blas very much. We were saddened to see how much damage the hurricane caused and how much more work is ahead. We have been vacationing in this special place for 28 summers and care a lot about everyone who lives and works here. Keeping our fingers crossed that this slice of heaven never has to go through another storm like this again. Our hearts are with you.

We rented this house with seven adults, two children, and two dogs, and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The multiple decks made it easy for us to enjoy the outdoors when we were not at the pool or the beach. The beach was perfect and within a very short walking distance of the house. The only challenge was having most of the bedrooms on one floor, which made it a bit complicated to manage noise when the babies were sleeping. This wasn’t a deal breaker, however. All in all everyone felt this was our best beach vacation ever! Thank you for opening up your lovely home and trusting us to be good stewards of it while we were there. Would definitely rent this house again!

Unfortunately we lost two beach days due to tropical storm Alberto, we had a good time watching the storm roll in from the third floor screened in deck of a great place. This was another fabulous stay (we have been to the area several times) on Cape San Blas - Absolute Deckadence is the nicest house we've stayed in (and has to be one of the very nicest houses out here). It is spacious, beachy, and the beachfront pool area was like our own private resort. The house had everything we needed for the perfect vacation and the management company provided special touches. We will be back for sure!

Lovely house with a spectacular view. Clean and well maintained. Nice beach access to allow queit walks along the beach to hunt for shells. Convenient kitchenette for pool and hot tub to use . Rooms were comfortable and large for our large group to all eat and enjoy time together. Loved the balconies to sit and enjoy the gulf view and amazing sunsets.

I stayed here as part of a large family gathering. I was immediately struck by the beach proximity. Having a boardwalk to the beach was nice as well. The pool provided a wonderful evening gathering place, as well as being clean and well kept. The layout of the house was perfect for a large group. Only one family had children, and they stayed on the upper level, where the facilities were much more conducive for bunking children. As a former professional chef, I was pleased with kitchen layout and level of equipment. The large counter space made preparing for meals for a large crew much easier, and also doubled as a buffet line. The amenities such as electronic equipment and cable service was very good, and we enjoyed the movie selection. My overall impression is that this is a well maintained, up-to-date rental home that is one of my more memorable vacation stays. Having a beautiful house like this in reasonable driving distance from Panama City, and Appalaciacola was wonderful, allowing a couple of good shopping trips. For a large family gathering, you can't go wrong here!

The elevator is a wonderful touch as the stairs can take there toll on you after a few days. The pool and hot tub are wonderful and kept in great condition. The boardwalk is nice and easy to get to beach, however there are a few nails sticking up and a couple on the decks. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The one sunset we did see was breathtaking.

Lady who answered the phone at rental company came across a bit hateful. we called 2 times with small things. She did not have a friendly attitude. this did not hamper stay at all.

I brought my dad with me with advanced Alzheimer's to see the ocean one last time before he forgot everything ..the house accommodated all of our needs and the elevator was a life saver so many times for groceries and getting my dad back and forth !the kitchen has all you need to cook tons of great dinners .the master bedroom is a dream and the bathroom !!!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving vacation. The view was wonderful. The beach was so relaxing. Eating our turkey and looking at the water was amazing. We fished, biked, went in the pool and of course went tot the beach. Thanks again for a amazing time. We enjoyed all the amenities and were happy to have our furry friends with us. Overall an incredible week.

Wow! What a fantastic beach house. We loved our 3 week stay at Absolute Deckadence, as did family, friends and our dachshund, Rascal. The master suite on the top floor is truly breathtaking, with spectacular views. The large private pool, heated spa, elevator, and open concept layout make this beachfront house a great destination The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances, cooking and baking utensils etc., which makes it a "Chef's Dream Come True". This spacious, well appointed house easily accommodates 14 comfortably and we highly recommend Absolute Deckadence for a very special stay on the "Forgotten Coast".

We had a mid January escape to Cape San Blas and expected sweat shirts and jean weather but wound up with mid 70s. What a delightful visit to one of our favorite beach spots. We have stayed at many different homes at the Cape over the years but this was by far our favorite. The house is beautiful. Large, spotless, charmingly decorated and equipped with everything a visitor could want. Sometimes the equipment at the rental houses is old or not in great shape. Not true here. You can tell the owners keep this house in tip top shape. The views are beautiful and there is a semi private walkway to the beach. We had every meal on one of the decks and enjoyed sunsets and gulf breezes. The dogs had long morning runs on the beach and even went January swimming. We spent afternoons at the beach or the pool and loved every minute. Cannot wait to visit Cape San Blas again and only hope we can stay at Absolute Deckadence! It was Sensational!

We gathered family together from 3 different states that had not been together on vacation in over 20 years. We knew it would either be the worst time of our lives or the best. We ended up having the best time of our lives. Absolute Deckadence was wonderful, had everything we could have wanted and more. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was amazing. We cooked in for every meal and had plenty of space for meal preparations. Loved the double ovens!!!! Meal times were usually interrupted by the amazing sunsets, but they were too awesome to pass up. The pool was a big hit with the kids, but the adults usually ended up gathering in the spa. Our furry family also had a wonderful time since the house and beaches were pet friendly. We hired a local photographer to take family beach pictures, so we have some great shots to help us remember this week. I highly recommend this beach house, it was comfortable, inviting, and the owners have thought of everything to make your vacation a wonderful one! Can't wait for the next family gathering.
