This beautiful beachfront house offers an unbeatable location with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico right from your doorstep. It is located in a quiet seaside community, and there is easy access to grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The property itself was a true oasis of relaxation and comfort. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The numerous amenities provided, including a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living area, plenty of comfortable beds, and a large outdoor deck, made for a calm and relaxing stay. The stunning ocean views from the balcony and access to the beach were definitely highlights of the week. Being able to watch dolphins each day was a truly unforgettable experience! Additionally, the proximity to the Air Force base offered a unique and exciting opportunity to watch fighter jets periodically soar through the sky. This added an extra element of fun and entertainment to an already fantastic vacation. I would surely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beachfront getaway with plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation!

After a long year we were looking for the perfect getaway to recharge with family and friends. By The Sea definitely delivered! We felt like we had the beach to ourselves and the views were gorgeous! The location of the home directly on the beach made for easy access to walk or swim anytime. We absolutely loved it and hope to get back there next year. Thank you for an amazing week!

By the Sea is your typical beach house with the living area between the bedrooms. Comfortable furnishings. The house was clean and as I stated very comfortable. The beach is wide and clean. And dog friendly! It is a beautiful beach. We found beautiful shells and enjoyed taking walks everyday. Great front porch for sitting watching the waves, they also have a covered area and table to eat at if interested. If you are a chef, the pots/pans, utensils aren’t the best. But useable! If you want a special pot/pan, I would bring it, they did have 2 stock pots though which we used for chowder and low country boil. The best surprise about our stay was Cape & Coast property managers. We didn’t have hot water one day and it was fixed ASAP, also we needed grill utensils which they supplied and brought to us in a matter of an hour! I have never experienced such great customer service. They were wonderful. I will not hesitate to rent from them again. Overall our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

Outstanding Indian Pass Vacation

Very nice week long vacation at By Th Sea! This beach house was great and one of the best that we’ve ever stayed at! We loved the location! Loved the View! Everything was almost perfect including the weather! A few things that could improve this rental where you park and have to walk sand is everywhere so without concrete or some kind of other material it just makes parking, unloading and walking around in loose sand very messy! One other problem is the Hot Tub is very loud and keeps kicking on 24/7 to keep warm so at night it wakes you up and then when your on the deck it’s loud during the day! It would be nice if a person could at least turn it off when they want to but this cannot be done the way it’s wired! The only other issue we noticed is the dishwasher is not attached to the cabinets so it wants to turnover when loading and unloading it’s also very noisy and has a whinnying noise when running! Besides these very little negative things I would have to say this was my favorite beach house I’ve ever stayed and we have stayed in several over 35 years! Would love to come back tomorrow!

House was pretty much as advertised. Only problem was the cookware was worn, Teflon cracked and worn inside pots. Only one skillet was useable. Easy walk to the beach. Overall a little expensive for what you get. Manager's Response - Thank you for telling us about your stay. Anytime you have problems with inventory items, just give the office a call and we will get a replacement out to you. We keep a varied stock of inventory available for guests at just a call.

By the Sea is one of our favorite places to stay! The sandy beach is just outside the door, with a nice private boardwalk right to the beach. The rental is well equipped, comfortable furniture, large master bedroom with its own bathroom, two other bedrooms plus another bathroom. The property is very clean, well maintained. We highly recommend By the Sea for a couple or a family.

Wonderful house and location. Couldnt ask for a better view! The house was perfect except the master bed mattress was not great. Having the hot tub option for a morning soak helped! Manager's Response: Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay at By the Sea. Mattresses are a difficult item to purchase that will please everyone. It is true, different strokes for different folks. But we are glad you were able to enjoy the phenomenal view and everything else about this great vacation home.

We had a wonderful time in this beach house. Boardwalk was great. Hot tub was a great plus. House was clean and well stocked kitchen. The grand puppies loved being on the beach all day long with us and it was so refreshing that beach was not crowded. We loved seeing all of the wildlife and natural habitat, however the biggest surprise was that a bear kept visiting our locked trash cans each night. We only had to contact Cape & Coast one time to add more locks to the trash cans and they responded immediately. The Indian Pass restaurant which was 3 minutes away was so good that we ate there two times. Peppers in Port St. Joe was also very good. We hope to rent this same beach house next year. Thank you again.

We went to the Brick Wall and watched a game my husband wanted to see but was not available on the regular channel. We can highly recommend the shrimp tacos and Philly Cheese Steak subs! Enjoyed walking around Historic Port St Joe and checking out the shops-so much to choose from. Made a short trip to Mexico Beach and had waffles at Sharon’s Cafe. YUM! Another trip was to Apalachicola -a neat area to explore. Get the Duck Confit Fries at the Owl Cafe Tap Room!! You won’t be sorry! Crab dip is great, too! We had a wonderful week and hope to do it again. April Stay at By the Sea at Indian Pass

We had a wonderful April stay at By the Sea. The house is exactly as described on the website, but even closer to the water than we expected. The house was clean and well equipped for cooking which we did occasionally. The raw bar is less than a mile away, so we did less cooking than we planned! The pergola on the porch provided ample shade in the morning to enjoy coffee overlooking the beach. The beach was wide and flat, perfect for long walks. The management company was great and responded to our one request immediately and cheerfully. We enjoyed our stay so much that we agreed to book the same week next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It looks exactly like it does in the photos. The house was very clean, inviting (upon our arrival there was a nice basket of toiletries on top of each of the beds in the rooms) and it had a great beachfront location on a pet-friendly beach. The property manager was very responsive and immediately addressed some minor issues (internet connectivity and fixing the heater in the jacuzzi). I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing beach get away.
