Cape Lime Pie

Cape Lime Pie was perfect for our family of 14 with 2 children under 3 years old. The house was clean and organized just as pictured, and the pool area exceeded our already high expectations of comfort and fun.

This was our 2nd year staying at Cape Lime Pie. It is the perfect location particularly if you have young children. The walk to beach is very easy. The house itself provides everything we could have needed and more. The house and property are clean and well maintained. There was a slippery spot near the outdoor shower and it was taken care of very quickly. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in the area.

Great week at Cape Lime Pie at Cape San Blas! Loved the house, plenty of space for our growing family. The pool area was awesome! Loved the shelter with fridge, picnic table, and fire pit. Loved the hot tub! Short walk to a private beach area that had plenty of space for all the families staying in the neighborhood. Great location, highly recommend for large families!

The house was really nice and open, with wonderful floor to ceiling windows. It was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. With that being said, the pool and lounge area next to the pool really stood out as something amazing. We spent a lot of time poolside and it was very enjoyable.

Cape Lime Pie was fantastic. Plenty of room for 10 people. We were close to town but yet far enough not to have to worry about being over crowded. The beach was a 3 minute walk from the house and was gorgeous. Going up the coast to the end of Cape San Blas state park was wonderful. Stopped at the fresh seafood market for lunch it was great. Went to towards St. George island and a had a great fresh oysters in Apalachaicola at a place called Hole in the wall fresh oysters bar. The house was decorated very ocean like. We are all ready planning our return trip to Cape Lime Pie with other family members.

Fantastic, the Cape Lime Pie house is amazing. Decorated very tastefully. We had 8 adults and 2 kids with plenty of room. The outside area was wonderful. The pool and hot tub along with the covered area was used all the time. The 5 minute walk to the beach was great, it’s a great beach and the best thing is it was not over crowded.

My family was looking to get away from the cold and snow and we found exactly what we needed in Cape San Blas. Cape Lime Pie was a great home away from home. The place was very clean and had all the amenities we wanted. Great kitchen setup, more than enough sleeping areas and bathrooms, pool and outdoor living space was very nice and easy walk to the beach! We rented kayaks and navigated around Pig Island. We also rented a pontoon boat and checked out the tip of the cape. Great location!!

All 12 of us had such a great time at the Cape Lime Pie beach house. There is plenty of room to spread out and gather. The pool deck and outdoor living area was a hit for our large group. The outdoor elevator was an added bonus for getting our groceries to the kitchen as well as luggage. The photos don’t lie, it’s a beautiful home with plenty of space. You won’t be disappointed. The beach access is a two minute walk around the corner Baytowne was helpful and responsive to any needs or questions we had. Our only complaint is not a reflection on the home or property management group, but when the sun goes down the mosquitoes come out - so bring your bug spray.

We had our first family vacation with our adults kids and their families and our very close friends. The house was very clean, we had everything we needed to cook. The pool was a lifesaver! The kids loved it and it kept them occupied since the weather wasn't the best that weekend. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Cape Lime Pie was the perfect location for our group of 12 friends to escape for a week and relax. The house was beautiful and well kept. We had an amazing family vacation weekend at Cape Lime Pie. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for a large group and the house was spacious enough for all of us. The pool was a great help with the kids, as it was cloudy most of the weekend and the location was perfect!

We truly enjoyed our visit. We had a minor issue with one bathroom and it was fixed within a few hours! We loved access to the beach and our private pool. The house was well stocked with everything we could need! The outdoora full-sized refrigerator came in handy. The fire pit was cozy. The owners provided bug deterrents! Thank you! One suggestion we would appreciate for safety would be to add a railing to get into the pool as our group's ages ranged from 3 to 87. We will definitely be back!

This beautiful home was perfect for our 12 member family. It is well-maintained, beautifully decorated and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed and pool and we spent most of our time in the wonderful cabana where we could easily watch the children in the pool as the adults talked and played games in the shade. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. It was a quick walk to the beach. The company employees were always courteous and helpful. We highly recommend this lovely home.

The hot tub and covered area by the pool made the outdoors livable even during the first day's rain. The fire pit was so perfect on the chilly nights. The house was spacious enough to allow everyone their privacy . Even though there were 9 of us there, we never felt crowded at all. It's going to be hard to find a house that lives up to this one! We also loved being able to walk across the street to Scallop Republic where we listened to some good music. I love the fact that it is so close to the highway to get back to Port St. Joe. The property management called to check on us the second day, just to make sure all was okay. The bikes and the beach wagon were all there when we arrived. The other great thing about this house is that it is right across the street from the new Serenity Trail where you can walk or ride a bike along the bay. I have a feeling we will be back to this lovely home again!

It was perfect for my family. Everything was amazing. The stairs are a little wearing having to run up and down but not a deal breaker. It’s a little odd that the only bathroom on the living area is in the master bedroom. The only true complaint I have is that the mosquitos ? were the worst I have ever dealt with my whole life, however that does not reflect on the quality and hospitality of this great property. The beach and bay are close and easily accessible.

The children loved the pool and the covered area was great to relax and watch them while they played. The walk to the beach was pleasantly short. The biting insects were an issue so if you go,, be prepared with bug spray. Also, some of the railings were rather loose on the porches. This could become a safety issues if not checked. Also, the open staircase between the second and bottom floor is a safety issue for crawlers and toddlers. Thankfully we saw it and put something in front of the opening. One of the members of our party needed to do some work but struggled because the internet was spotty. This is a beautiful home and we loved staying there.

Lots of friends and family were able to join us which added to the overall fun! They were all impressed with the grandness of the house. We did love most everything about the space but think the kitchen could use some love. The stove is not the best and there are very few big salad bowls. Also, there was not a wine opener to be found but we did manage because I have one on my Swiss Army knife!! Such a handy tool! We all loved the hot tub and used it quite a bit. The kids actually went in the frigid pool but then hopped in the hot tub to warm up. Fun for them. The gas grill however, was a mess...which my son got working. WE LOVE THIS HOUSE SO MUCH but won't be able to return because of cost and extenuating health concerns. This makes us very sad. We love love Baytowne and LOVE Bill and Glenys!! They are incredibly professional and answer all concerns right away. We will miss them but never forget them. Never hesitate to book through Baytowne---you will not be sorry! The perfect house for a large group! We had 6 couples so we each had our own room. There was even room for the kids. Our favorite part was the covered porch by the pool that we ended up living at the entire weekend! The walk to the beach is two long blocks. If you have kids make sure you bring a wagon. Would definitely rent this house again!

Everything about Cape Lime Pie Baytowne Vacation Rental was superior! The house was huge and beautiful with nothing missing in terms of what is needed to have a stress free vacation. Having our kids and grandkids for a week was one of the highlights. They loved the pool and sitting outside altogether enjoying laughs, drinks, and family. The beach is so easily accessible and the fishing was just enough to appease the men and to supply us all with luscious fishcakes and filets. Aside from loving the house, we cannot say enough about Baytowne Rentals...the folks there are super! Whenever we had a question or concern they got on top of the issue right a way. During our stay, my husband's mom passed and paperwork was needed to finalize the cremation of her remains and we were able to go to the office at Baytowne and get all of it done with the help of the staff who are very knowledgeable and kind. Gladly, if we all stay healthy, we plan to spend 5 more glorious weeks at Cape Lime Pie again in 2020. We are thrilled and excited to return to beautiful Cape San Blas to make more lasting memories and friendships! Thank you all so much for making us feel so welcome & special! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! This was a great house. A short walk to the beach and across the road from the bay. A great place to ride bikes and walk. The location was perfect. It was just a short drive to town and right down the road from the fun Indian Pass Oyster Bar. We will definitely return to this house and area! Matt was a pleasure to work with. We were lucky enough to rent the Cape Lime Pie for the Labor Day Weekend. The rental team was professional and easy to work with. They were available to answer any questions. WOW! HUGE! The house is huge with lots of room to spread out. We loved making an sharing memories with our son, grandchildren, and friends. We enjoyed the short walks to the beach and the bay. This home is also just minutes from restaurants, Port St. Joe, St. Joe State Park, and a local ice cream shop. Cape Lime Pie has everything you need! You just need to bring your food, swimsuits, beach towels, and sunscreen. This is absolutely perfect for a large family or a girls get-away!!! Love it.
