Generous home with all the comforts of home. Has a brief walk to the beach. The beach is never heavily crowded and is often almost empty this time of year. The lack of condos means that except for the peak weeks the beach will be pleasant. The management company responded promptly to an a/c problem it was fixed immediately. Pool was excellent! A very enjoyable stay. Thank you

Excellent rental property. The house was exactly as pictured and lived up to all expectations. Layout was great for us and our two teen girls. The pool and sitting area were perfect and got a lot of use. Also, enjoyed meals on the table on the deck. Proximity to beach and The Trading Post made the house even better. Would rent again!!!

This house was perfect! It is a beautiful home with private pool. My kids loved being able to swim at night with the color changing lights in the pool. The short walk to the beach, ice cream shop and Trading Post made this an extremely convenient location. We booked a fishing charter to do some bay fishing and loved it, played in the waves, ate dinner in Port St Joe, and explored the cute little Apalachicola area (about 30 min away).

This property was great for a family week at the beach. Very close to the ice cream shop and trading post as well as a very short walk to the beach. This is one of the first properties we have rented where the pictures actually look exactly like it does when you walk in the property. The pool was amazing to have for the kids to play in and to cool off after the beach. We loved everything about the property and location.

We had such an amazing stay. This house is gorgeous and we are definitely wanting to plan another stay in the future. Such an easy walk to the beach and the traiding post. We arrived on a Saturday and on Monday we noticed it was a bit cool and was going to be a cloudy week so I emailed Baytowne and asked if they could turn on the pool heater and for an additional fee they had someone out there the same day. The beach is gorgeous and not crowded at all. We met a few of the home owners near by and they were so nice. Don’t over think it and stay in the house. You won’t regret it. It is more beautiful in person.

We had a fabulous stay! The house seems to have been newly updated and everything was in working order. Loved that each room had a tv, bathroom, and outdoor patio access. We loved the big kitchen table. We highly recommend this house!

Cape and Coast staff

From the beginning - the presentation of the house and the demeanor of the management company - I felt good about my choice. The web post was inviting and enticing. My contact with the company associates was friendly and courteous. Information requested was passed quickly and accurately. FIVE STARS for the crew!! We arrived an hour before scheduled check in time. A call to management company revealed that the custodial team had just finished and we were cleared for an early arrival. Big thumbs up! The house was clean inside and out. Well laid out kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Simply and tastefully decorated without the clutter and cutesy I’ve seen in some of my previous rentals on the Cape. The kitchen was reasonably equipped with all the appliances we needed. Glassware was a little sparse but the knives were sharp!! Kitchen was overall very functional. Two flights up a wide staircase to the bedrooms, which were adequately sized except the bunk room which was a little cramped (but the kids won’t complain). All bathrooms were spacious and sparkling clean. Beds were firm and very comfortable. Linen was soft and comfortable. Adequate storage. The decks on both levels were wide and inviting. Deck furniture was adequate although the second floor chairs got pushed around a little by the storm and should be replaced. This was the first time we’ve rented a place with a pool and it was a game changer. Another great place to gather and socialize and, of course, cool off. Two minute walk to the beach. (Rent a beach cart, makes that commute a breeze). The only caveat is that it’s not gulf front, but I knew that going in.

The price did not match the website, there were extra fees after we paid the deposit and we requested an early check in that was never responded to. We did get to check in earlier than the original check in, but it was still 2 hours after we arrived.

The home; however, was beautiful! It was everything we excepted. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed, as well as, beach access!

The house, pool, and location were great for our family! We have 3 kids and the walk to the beach was not a problem. We loved our family bike rides to get ice cream. We rented kayaks and went out in the bay and the ocean when it was calm enough. The house is as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures.

We so enjoyed our stay at Havin a Blas. The home was very clean and welcoming. The photos of the home are very true to the actual home and property. The property manager supplied us with plenty of towels and supplies to start our vacation without running to the store the first night. We all enjoyed the pool, and our little fella enjoyed playing the Monopoly Jr. game that was left in one of the bedroom closets. Everyone in the area was so friendly. What a wonderful vacation! We would certainly rent this home again and highly recommend to others!

We had a great time. The home is wonderful and the pool is great. The added bath by the pool was a great addition. The location is super, if you enjoy donuts in the morning, Weber's is a few hundred feet away. The management was excellent as we had a concern that turned out to be nothing but the property management team was at our door in minutes to make sure we had a great stay. We recommend and will be back.

Gorgeous, spotless, beautifully decorated home!! VERY close to the ocean, about two houses down from the beach access. Maybe a 1 minute walk. Also within walking distance to the ice cream shop & the trading post, which is the cute little island grocery store. One of our favorite things to do was get firewood from the store & make a bonfire on the beach in the evening. It was awesome. We brought our s’mores & wine down there & watched the sunset. Also recommend riding horses on the beach & renting kayaks. My husband & I enjoyed our morning coffee on the top deck off of the master w/ pretty ocean views. We even saw dolphins one morning. All beds & couches were very comfy. TVs in every bedroom. Lots of windows, lots of light. We paid extra to have the pool heated. We did have an issue where we thought the pool was chilly one day. We called & the pool man was out to correct the problem within an hour, which was a simple fix of adding water with the hose to raise the water level & kick the heater on. We were very happy with the swiftness in which the issue was resolved. Our kids loved the pool! We spent our afternoons out there having wine & cheese. There was a grill for cooking out. There is also an outdoor bathroom which the kid’s thought was cool, & it was convenient not to have to dry off & go in the house. We ate dinner on the outdoor deck table one night, which was nice. On the rainy days we watched Netflix & played sorry & the board games which are located in the bunk bed room closet. Most are geared toward young kids. If you have teens or older kids, it might be worth it to bring games or puzzles of your own. House was very well stocked. There were 2 coffee pots. One traditional pot & one Keurig. Tupperware, baking pans, etc. They provided a lot of nice things that I haven’t seen in other houses, like several laundry baskets & there was even vinegar in the cabinet in case of jelly fish stings. Really no complaints whatsoever. A few small constructive suggestions would be, a ladle for scooping pasta sauce or serving soups. Also, I would recommend providing a few more bath towels & wash cloths. There was only about one per guest, so we were doing a lot of laundry with all of the showering after the beach. Nice for women to have 2 towels for hair wrapping & body. Also, I would add a towel rack to the master bath. We will absolutely stay here again. What a lovely & spectacular vacation house!!!
