Beautiful house. Plenty to do as far as beach, pool, relax by fire or head down to town get ice cream or shop and grab a bite to eat. Cute up and coming area. Everything seems to be within 20-30 minutes. Beach was beautiful and private. Will definitely make our way back down there again.

This house was very nice! We were pleasantly surprised by some amenities that weren’t listed including the hot tub. Location is right on the beach with such a short walk it was easy for our elderly parents. The nearby town of port st Joe had enough little local food joints and shops but didn’t feel crowded at all. The property was well kept and the two times we had to call maintenance they were very quick to respond

We enjoyed our stay greatly. The house was great, well maintained, well furnished and well stocked with kitchenware for our needs. The beach was great and amazingly quiet for mid July - just what we wanted. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and the great ocean view - right on the beach. The kids loved the pool, it was very well maintained as well. This was our first time in Indian Pass and we loved it - enough off the beaten path to be quiet, but close enough to restaurants and groceries, etc. We will definitely be back!

We love this vacation rental and come here every year. It’s just the right amount of space for our family. We love the pool and fire pit. The beach is remote and dog friendly making this spot one of our favorite places to be!

Family enjoyed the convenience of the pool and ready access to the beach. Indian Pass Raw Bar was our favorite restaurant and it's just a mile down the road.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice. We had 4 adults and 3 children and had plenty room. The view from the back porch and around the firepit. We had some issues with the pool being heated that we paid $250 for this to be done. We checked in and notice the heat was not working and the service light was on the pool pump. After several calls and email we were told Sunday evening that the pool pump was out and they needed the homeowner to approve the purchase of a new pump. We were never told there was an issue with it the first 2 days we called Cape and Coast about the issue. Cape and Coast did issue us a refund for the 3 days we were without the heated pool which was greatly appreciated I just wish the communication was a little better from them about the issue.
Overall we loved the rental and looking forward to our next stay at Turquise and Caicos

Really had a pleasurable time. The beach house was fabulous and we enjoyed our time there. Also enjoyed the area not being overly populated. I am not really a beach person but I really enjoyed a week away from everything.

This was our first time visiting Cape San Blas and we couldn’t have been any happier! The beach house was well appointed with everything we needed. Our whole family enjoyed their stay and we can’t wait to come back. The property is right on the water and so private on the beach.

Loved our week at the beach. The house is located perfectly for easy access. This was our 2nd stay at this location. We love the sized of the house and 1 floor accommodation. It was very clean. We did have a few small issues arise, which Cape and Coast Management quickly responded and took care of. The beds were very comfortable. We liked the addition of the shelves for additional storage in the kitchen. Our only complaint would be an overall lack of serving/mixing ware and no large skillet.

The property was ideal for our family of six. There was plenty of space and we had everything we needed. The heated private pool was a game changer. Pool in the mornings and evenings, ocean beach midday... perfection. The fire pit was lovely as was the deck for morning coffee. We would definitely come back again!

This house is in an excellent location, especially if you want to rent a golf cart. The beach is very close and using the flat board walk easy to get on the beach. The ramp makes it easy to get your luggage and groceries into the house. The pool, fire pit and covered porch were great. The property was very clean. The only thing I would suggest they provide more silverware and replace the Corning ware bowls. I have been working with Cape & Coast for a number of years and they have never disappointed in their customer service.

Would highly recommend this property.
Our only issue was there was no golf cart that was supposed to be, but the company was very timely in finding one for us.

Our stay at Turquoise and Caicos was better than we could have imagined. If you are looking for privacy away from hotels, high rises, and crazy traffic this is a great option. We saw dolphins almost every day. The outdoor space with the beach as a backyard, fire pit, and pool area were amazing. Large common space and great beach stuff including toys, bean bag toss, and some body/boogie boards. Would highly recommend this property.

All around great location on the beach. The boardwalk and ramp into the house made it a perfect solution for our party which included a senior with mobility issues and a senior dog. The pictures shown provide an accurate depiction. We rented a golf cart as well and highly recommend one to others. We were also fortunate to have great neighbors the week we were there. This home and location was PERFECT for our family. Being right on the beach was perfect for my husband and I to still be able to relax while our kids (6&8) had a blast! The home had true beach house feels and we loved that. We saw dolphins daily and enjoyed visiting with people walking their dogs on the beach. This location is so quiet and slow paced we couldn't have asked for anything better! We can not wait to come back!!

We had a great stay as a family - the house was clean and absolutely perfect for our family of 5. The fire pit was amazing and used nightly. The weather was nice for the time of year and we very much enjoyed the local area as well as the property. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Only two items that could use improvement... 1) dining room is cramped and needs to be reconfigured. We ate at the bar most of the time. 2) the lower gate to the pool could easily be opened by my 5 year old. The side gate lock was at proper height to prevent this, but the shorter gate should be combo locked to prevent accident.

We have rented in this area several times over the years from different rental companies and I would absolutely rent from this rental company again. There are no hidden fees like there are with other rental companies. We absolutely loved our stay at this vacation home! If I had the money I would make an offer to the owners. This was a very comfortable home. My favorite aspect of this home was the the unblocked view from the great room of the absolutely beautiful view of the ocean. the ramp from the ground to main floor of the home made it much easier on all of us to include our miniature pinschers that aren’t a big fan of stairs. We have rented in this area several times over the years from different rental companies and I would absolutely rent from this rental company again. There are no hidden fees like there are with other rental companies. Everything was so easy with their rental app. There relationships with other local businesses enhanced our stay (Port St. Joe Rentals, and VayCay Gear). Thank you Cape and Coast!

From the location to the proximity of the beach to the perfect layout of the home, this beach rental was one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. Perfect size for 2 families! Everything looks great and the back porch is the perfect spot for cocktails and sunset viewing. We saw so many dolphins! This part of the panhandle is wonderful. Our beach was very quiet, weather was great, and we loved it so much!

This was our first trip to this area and we were very pleased! The house is lovely and spacious. The beds and seating are all very comfortable! Cape and Coast was helpful and quick to respond to any concerns we had. The pool area is really nice with upscale lounge chairs in addition to a covered area if you want to sit out of the sun. It also has a great little fridge that was wonderful to have! This home has great AC and is the coolest 71 degrees I have ever felt. The hot water heater is awesome and NEVER ran out of hot water, even while taking multiple showers at the same time. A couple of things I would recommend for the owners- some extra storage, (wall shelving, or a slender, standing metal rack) by the kitchen for snacks and things would be nice. The kitchen is very well stocked, but there is only 1 lower cabinet available to put food and pantry items in. We put some items in the dining area, but having storage closer would be a plus. Also, a mirror in the queen bedroom would be a great addition since it shares a bathroom with the bunk room. Those are small things, and certainly did not detract from our visit. We truly enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay in this house again!

The pool was the perfect size and private, loved the outdoor furniture (loungers, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, rockers), the privacy and view of the beach could not be beat, and the amenities were spot on. I loved all the clean, bright space under the house for my workouts, we roasted s'mores in the fire pit, hit the beach and the pool, enjoyed having the TVs in the bedrooms for the kids at night, and the kids loved the bunk beds! I will say that the mattresses were not the MOST comfortable, but they were ok. We used our gear credit for beach chairs and umbrella, cooler (which we used for our chartered fishing excursion on the bay one day), corn hole bags and boards (the property actually has their own boards which are REALLY nice, but no bags, so I am glad I had ordered this), and a child bike. We used the beach and then the quiet road in front of the house to teach my older kids how to ride a 2 wheeler finally! Cape & Coast was very responsive with my inquiries on the property post hurricane. The area is still recovering so there is a lot of construction, properties that cannot yet be inhabited, and a few businesses that are no longer there. That said, we still did Easter sunrise service overlooking the water at First United Methodist, could get groceries at the Piggly Wiggly or the Trading Post (I did the majority of my shopping online and swung by the WalMart in Marianna, FL, on our way in), donuts at Webers Little Donut Shop (get there at opening or a little before), and pizza and salads at Joe Mama's once for a late lunch/early dinner followed by dessert right next door at Shoobie's. If you are looking for a private beach trip to spend quality time with family, this is a great area and this is an awesome property. If you are looking for action, stick with Destin.

The house was beautiful but if you don't have pets you can tell they allow them. There's just no way to get rid of all of the hair and smell of pets inside. The area is very desolate if you are used to being close to a big Town and after the hurricane apparently it's even more so. lots of construction and rebuilding so I'm sure that will change over the course of the next year or two. Our family of five visited over Memorial Day and despite Tropical Storm Alberto early in the week had a wonderful time. Turquoise and Caicos was absolutely gorgeous, well stocked and so clean! It's even nicer in person than in the pictures. It had everything we needed and more. So many things we loved about this home especially having the beach just steps away, fun in the pool, and enjoying morning coffee/evening wine on the screened in porch. And the unobstructed view of the Gulf was amazing! A great place to unwind, reconnect and make memories as a family. I would highly recommend Turquoise and Caicos and can't wait to return!

Cape San Blas and my vacation rental were just perfect. With the ability to sleep 10 was great for my family gathering. The views from the front screened porch which sits right on the beach over looking the gulf is amazing. T & C was a delight for us to stay in with its beautiful upscale beach decor, fully stocked kitchen , private pool to swim in and was handicap accessible too. Definitely look forward to staying at this place again. A huge 10+ from me.

We stayed here for a week with our family, including two kids ages 2 and 4. This was the perfect beach house! The recent remodel is gorgeous and we loved sitting on the porch to take in the spectacular beach views. We also liked the flexibility of spending time on the beach but able to lounge by the pool. I would highly recommend this house to rent.

Each day we enjoyed having our lunch at the picnic table by the private pool. Beach is easily accessible- loved that the walkway was composite wood- no worries with splinters in your feet. Our only suggestion is to replace the King guest suite mattress- it was super firm and uncomfortable. We'll bring a mattress topper for that bed when we return. Overall, we loved the house and it's location. Cape and Coast Rentals manages the property very well and they were great to work with.

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have stayed at Slice of Paradise twice now , in September 2016 for two weeks and a week in January 2017 and we just love it . We have been coming to the Cape San Blas area for about five years and have several friends that have homes on the northern Cape . The house is very spacious and comfortable and we just love the tongue and groove wood in the Greatroom with cathedral ceilings that remind us of home in Tennessee except you get the great view of the Gulf . The exterior of the home is as great as the inside with a large screen porch and an open covered porch with great views of the Gulf . The heated pool was used every day along with several outside showers which brings me to another point . We love the beach and the sand but with the concrete drive and all the concrete under the house you can leave the sand on the beach instead of in the house and your car . We have just had a wonderful three weeks here and that is not even mentioning the great trout and flounder fishing in the bay . I could go on and on but I think you get the picture plus everybody at Cape and Coast have just been great to work with .

It's been quite a while since we've enjoyed our vacation this much! Thank you to the owners for sharing their lovely home with us and to Cape and Coast for making it so easy! The house was clean and comfortable just as advertised and there were a lot of special touches like dried flowers on our beds and plush bathrobes! The beach was so close and convenient to get to and the screened porch was a dream. The weather was not too hot not too cold. It was perfect. We only saw one other couple on the beach The beach was beautiful. We had plenty of room for the kids to run and play several games of beach football! When we were tuckered out from playing on the beach we felt like kings in the heated pool. I love everything about this house from the openness of it to the ramp that made lugging in our stuff so much easier. to the privacy of the pool area. Everything was perfect! We can't wait to come back!

We've stayed at "Slice of Paradise" spring, summer and fall and it is truly a wonderful family vacation house, beach and pool. It's a throwback to a time where there were no high rises or commercial buildings on the beach. It's almost like you have the beach to yourself. The furnishings are nice and the kitchen is well equipped.

Our trip to Port Saint Joe was absolutely perfect! The beach house was clean and roomy with a great view. We sat on the porch every morning sipping coffee and munching sweet rolls. We walked the beach and lounged by the pool. One day we picnicked under the covered area by the pool. It was a relaxing vacation, and we will be back. We travel a lot. This is a well-kept secret!
